thank you so much for making this, been looking to find a way to do this in native c4d for a while with not much success. Doing it in redshift makes so much more sense. Have you had any other experimentation using tileable textures instead of the brick node?

Seeing the orbit of moon , sun , and planet supposedly kept the earth in a balanced conditions but extreme industrial activities help prevent that because of speed but it is elastic like rubber band once over threshold it either break or extremis responese

Another way is Point Generate (set to number of circles you want), Enumerate, Attribute Adjust Float pscale (set to Remap Attribute), and then Copy to Points. This way is likely faster than the loop. You also get all the controls of the Attribute Adjust Float to tweak the distribution of the circles, which is nice. i.imgur.com/B69sfJU.png

Combined should equal the total of the reflection value and the refraction value. If combined is lower, it will clamp these values. Hope that makes sense and keep up the great work.

Wow, such a simple and helpful tip! I've always struggled with glass in Redshift and could never figure out why I needed to crank it way beyond the number of bounces I needed. Turns out I just needed to add one more bounce. (btw how did you find out that it ignores the first bounce? I feel RS has so many little secrets that the docs don't describe)

Hi, I’m trying to export my hair object as a fbx to bring into other software, to do that I have to go to the generate tab and turn to flat, but when I export out I don’t have any hair textures. Do you know how to export the textures?
@ProfessionallyIncorrect
@ProfessionallyIncorrect Жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, materials don't exchange to and from different applications very easily. You could try exporting with USD depending on where you're taking it.

@@ProfessionallyIncorrect I’m taking my hair to character creator 4 and really all i need is the texture images and uv island. Like diffuse, opacity maps etc. I then could manually add the texture pngs into the character creator material . Any help would be much appreciated

Transparency Depth is not limited by the Combined Depth parameter. You might also need to crank up reflections as well if you need those subtle internal reflections

This is great. While this is about adding quality, and thus raising render times, I dream though of one day seeing a Redshift tutorial about refraction that is showing how to speed up glass/liquid renders without a huge hit on quality..
