Do not replace the rods, yes, they are a bit thin, but you can considerably reduce the swaying with an upper rod between the two rails to stabilize

Absolutely smashing. I wouldn't be allowed to build this to operate it in the UK as it would be deemed illegal, unfortunately. The fun police have more or less outlawed any flying of any vehicle beyond line of sight. Anyway, it was very rewarding to watch your design fly albeit frustrating too!

I experienced that uncommanded Yaw effect on one of mine apm builds. I guess it's the firmware. When I run a quad firmware , it was fine but octa firmware was Yawing without command.

I liked the gyro-self correcting feature you added. How different did you notice on the flying experience?

It basically stabilizes the aircraft but sometimes it can be too sensitive so you need to adjust it manually. I fly mostly without gyro
