Veronica's performance may be thankless to some, but it's perfectly and utterly essential in its realism. Props to John for giving due credit.

Again, this might be a myth but I read the original script for Alien had a scene where the Xenomorph peeks at Ripley through a porthole while she's undressing.

It was a product of her time based on her reality she saw at that time, she also evolved a lot in her art. In my opinion her/ their work doesn't focus on gender but character

It’s a modern classic, one of the best gangster films ever made! I love the characters but the cool menace of Teddy Bass, “mister black magic himself” played by Ian McShane was a sheer tour de force!

I watched this in 1982 when I was 7 and it is by far the best horror movie of all time. I loved it then and still do to this day. Thank you John!

They are cute photos. But I have no idea how a grown man would think they are genuine. Or how any photograph 'expert' could corroborate that. I was imagining something much more convincing when I heard the story and then when I saw the actual pictures I was shocked at how ridiculous they looked.

I hope Carpenter knows how much we love this movie and just how high up there with other masterpiece of the genre and movies in general it is. Because he really deserves it, he made a hell of a job and didn't get the appreciation he deserved back then
