Take Egor Demin. Let Cooper go to the Pistons or the Wizards, because his talent, if legit, will stagnate in the cellar.

I think we are underselling what Mogbo could be for us next yr from the bench. The more I dig into his gms & history the more I feel that this gut can have a positive impact as a rookie. Not as big as SB whrn he came in but Mogbo had those same intagibles & good skill sets such as connector, high BB IQ, screener, rebounder & a versatile defender.

nothing personal woodley but the raptors are gonna be horrible next year. its not tanking if you that bad to loose enough games to get a bottom 6 pick. and yes the bottom 6 picks in this year could be franchise players. raptors are not even a play in team this year. you look at bottom dwellers alot of them improved and have deeper teams than raptors. go look at blazers roster, they are deeper and have far more talent and better defence than raptors.

It has been reported that Tyus Jones wants starting PG $ & wants to be a starting PG. We don't need another short PG who wants $$ & cannot defend. We need a stretch mobile big.
@LockedOnRaptors18 сағат бұрын
Yeah I don't see what you're seeing at the bottom of the league. Portland, Utah, Washington, Detroit, Chicago and Brooklyn are all pretty obviously worse than the Raptors, and the Hornets and Hawks are toss ups. Clippers have some serious disaster potential too if Kawhi misses any time. They can't be a bottom 5 bad team if Scottie-RJ-IQ and Jak are remotely healthy
@pgauleygale9 сағат бұрын
There are at least 6 teams in the East alone that are worse than the Raptors as the roster stands right now. Having another crap year, with the new core in place, would be terrible for the team mentality.

i have a different idea to create roster space. please try a trade with the Blazers. i suggest trading Brown and Boucher to Portland for Jerami Grant. ( make it fast because the Lakers are looking for him ). Portland might go for a couple of expiring contracts and the raptors would get a player under 3 or 4 years to match up with the other players under contract for 3 or 4 years and see where it goes.

Keyon Martin exposed the workout story on his pod 2)Freeman liberty sucks . He good enough for G league but sucks at nba level . It’s sorta like a no man zone to be in . He does too much . If he wants to make it in the nba and your not talented my best advice is to stick to one thing your good at and master it . If your a shooter be a shooter . If you’re a defender. Be a defender. Ulrich looks like he could be a player by the start of next year. Gradey has grown to be a more well rounded player but if he's our starting sg, we'll get cooked most games in that match up. We'll need a competent vet backup (not Bruce Brown). Shead, Battle, Carlson and Mogbo all look like they have legit shots to make the bench for Raps this year.

I don’t see Gradey as a 2 really he looks more like a slight three or if he had a 6,8 in shoes measurement a gallinari style four. Defend threes and let Scottie defend the fours but gradey hits the corner and plays as a four on offence
@ge93310 күн бұрын
The shots Gradey gets in summer league are self created after a lot of d attention. His shooting in league will be mostly created and anything else is a big bonus. Not worried and impressed with Shead. Looked like Ty Lawson lite. Jakobe. Looks good. First game gradey had command this game he had more control and opps. He did well. If he has the run with second unit minus someone higher on pecking order that shoots he will do fine .

Yeah, Grady is looking buff and he’s impacting the game in different aspects which is great to see! Shooters are streaky so his shot will come around. Brendan Carlson is looking solid and he might earn a serious look at the backup center spot behind Poeltl. Which would be a great find as Kelly O is better off as a wing. Also, Jamison Battle has looked like he could be a nice player too. Its been fun to watch these young guys trying to fight to take a roster spot!

@LockedOnRaptors13 күн бұрын
yes because what people say in press conferences is always exactly what they end up doing. Jeff Dowtin and Dalano Banton were definitely a huge part of their plan. They're absolutely not going to take 3-4 years doing a traditional rebuild where they're trying to tank for lotto balls. Not happening. One more year maybe. Rebuild, retool, rewhatever. Front offices and coaches speak broadly and vaguely and taking them literally is foolish lol.

@@LockedOnRaptors but getting back on topic, hearing darko saying officially they are in year 1 of a rebuild, denying that, doesnt mean the raptors are not in a 3-4 year rebuild. there is no nuance, he said it officially raptors are starting a rebuild. drafting 4 rookies should have told you raptors are in a rebuild. gary is gone, and once boucher and brown moved, the raptors will be a bad team as they will have rookies off their bench playing. most rookies are bad their 1st year, especially if they are not selected in the top 6. so making up some hypothetical raptors are not in a rebuild is actually disingenuous to what darko said officially to reporters at vegas when asked directly if raptors are in rebuild.

@@LockedOnRaptors personally i think alot of bottom teams got better. pistons have tobias harris, hardaway jr and malik beasley so they should be better than last year where they vastly under performed. they filled their primary need at wing and perimeter defence and improved their 3 pt shooting. i even think the blazers got alot better with deni avdila and robert williams coming back. so with jerami grant and rayan rupert they actually have a good defence. the grizzlies will be better this year, and i believe the spurs will be better also. the raptors basically stayed the same. their defence isnt good, and they really have no one who can take a player off the dribble to create their own shot so they will have problems in the half court again. if jakob loses another step this year, he could be borderline unplayable. i think the raptors could be bottom 7 and as bad as bottom 3 keep your fingers crossed for cooper flagg so the raptors can have their future number 1 option who can take players off the dribble and create his own shot. i think the hornets and wizards could be better this year as well. if lamelo stays healthy they could be better than raptors. if poole settles in from his off year and plays well with kuzma the wizards could be better this year also.
