Hello, do you where I can buy this chassis? Best regards from Norway

If there's slop in the screws you've got a slop part. HR Bell Cranks do not have slop in the screws that I've ever witnessed. They lock tight in the hole and they stay in without thread locker. You're besmirch their product with your thread locker OCD. Thread locker is an option to be avoided unless there is no other option. I should tell your mama you've been naughty.

In the middle of a complete bearing change on my Slash 4x4 myself, just finished the rear differential rebuild and now I'm not sure if I put all the bearings seal side out, and my OCD self is going to have to take it apart and check 😂

What type of carpet is that? I’m opening an indoor track. I was going to order CRC but it will pull if a screw catches it

What happened ? Did you stop the channel ? Cause you made some great videos .

Is that a stock slash vxl?
@mattster197 Жыл бұрын
basically it looks like the stock is the best at that time. I got the RPM and the distance without center support is an issue with body destruction. I think the best bumper is the new 2wd bumper they made for the Drag slash its shorter, closer to the frame.

Assuming you have a stock slash ultimate 4x4 you could just buy a 23 piece kit

💕❤💕 Oh I'm so glad I finally found a Channel with with someone who not actually is educated about there Traxxas RC car but your videos are absolutely Clear and understandable 👌 your attention to Detail is Top Shelf I myself am a Detail Freak sometimes I think im more into that then driving 🚗 the car lol. I have a few am working on a Slash 4x4 right now and your information is PRICELESS and also will work well with my Stampede VXL 4X4 which I have already moded up well I thought until I watched your channel lol. Obviously you don't only upgrade the looks you also upgrade the things we don't see that are critical to the performance and preserving are RC cars and Trucks and your tips and tricks and detailed breakdowns and rebuilds don't skip over the critical parts most skip over which always leaves me scratching my head 🤔. I have been a Master Model builder for most of my life and working with my hands on this kind of stuff keeps my brain fresh at 62 lol as I'm disabled now I cant build things from scratch anymore from wood and metal because I now have carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands as of the last few years its progressed and back and hip issues but this Hobby has given me new hope again with a little patience I can still do it I just might drop a few more screws and say a few more bad words but I try not too lol. I have had my Grave Digger and Stampede for over 8 years and there like new I recently took them out of storage bought 2 new Lipos and cleaned them up and away we go woohoo lol. I have moded up the Stampede significantly to the point after changing to bigbore shocks increased the shock oil wt to 50 the things Heavy now I hope I didn't make it to heavy. Anyway sorry im way off topic here I just kinda wanted to intro myself and my background to you thats funny im sure you will remember that along with all your other subscribers lol anyway THANK YOU AWESOME CHANNEL I wish there were more like it 😊 👍 I'm going to be spending alot of time watching your videos catching up getting educated on taking care of my Traxxas Stampede and Slash and Grave Digger. I just bought a T Bone basher front bumper that I want on the front of my Backslash. I did not build the Backslash, I bought it already done. When I got the bumper ($$$$), the hole pattern did not match the bottom of the chassis. What I realized from your video is that there is a piece that screws to the chassis with 3 screws and then the bumper screws to that piece ( I don't have that piece). The bumper doesn't screw directly to the chassis. Thanks for showing me that!! Do you know where I can get that piece I'm missing? It doesn't show up in the Traxxas drawings or parts I looked at. Thanks.

Which motor heater sink with cooler attached is this one? I'm looking for one that is compatible with my Slash 4x4 VXL in terms of dimensional and good performance. Thanks 🙌🏽

Curious if you ever tried finding a stiffer spring for the HR servo saver. I have this on my stampede, but the spring is a tad too soft for running sledgehammers. If I tighten the knurl nut down to stiffen it up some, the spring fully compresses with very little "saver" separation. A stiffer spring will let me back it off enough so the servo saver still functions, but also sends more power to the tires.

I have the old school SSC that has the upper bar/plate that goes from the rear diff bulk head to the front diff bulk head. For 5 years and still racing with it today! Stock VXL ESC and VXL motor, every thing is stock except for Pro Line shocks with their dual spring, that's heavy spring with a spacer with light spring on top, ST steering system servo saver, and turn buckle and caster blocks up front. Savox servo. Biggest advantage on this chassis is not only the better handling but for roll over and crash at the track this thing will up right its self 9 out of 10 times and that's a very big advantage agents all other SCT Big Boy Brand Names at the race!
