Anytime you point out that it mirrors real world politics a little to closely for you to enjoy it because it loses its escapism (my reason atleast) they always says “they make fun of both sides!!” But they really don’t. They literally had January 6th in the final episode, apart from it just being weird asf like how lazy are these writers?? They have a world full of evil superheros just as sadistic as powerful people already can be and the most they do with it is weird sex parties with the powers and then they mimic real life politics to a T. They couldn’t get anymore creative than just “what’s on tv this week? Oh shit trumps a thing let’s just do that but homelander.”

Remember when Mike Meyers would deliberately do that fake crying as a joke in his comedy routines? Where he would pretend to get all choked up and couldn't continue? Where we knew we were all "in" on the gag and weren't supposed to take it seriously? That's who Boogie reminds me of.

Andor season 2 NEEDS to be about the Mon Calimari joining the Rebels. If you look at the Rebels vs the empire being like the American Revolution, the Mon Calimari are the French empire. In both cases as soon as they committed the Rebels were able to fight on an equal footing militarily wise. The one good thing Disneys New Republic is showing a strong Mon Calimari presence but it should be more. I hope Gilroy would understand and do this but who knows, probably not.

Does anyone know what Boogie's offical excuse was for never getting a liposuction during the height of his wealth and fame? I know its not a proper weight loss treatment, but its a step that can help yet he never took it while talking about how he's doing "everything he can" to lose weight.

Watching all of this unfold in real time during the years was crazy. I thought that he would have sewer-side himself at this point. I'm glad he's still here, he hasn't gotten past the point of no return yet, so while there is life, there is always a chance of turning things around.

Me: (Points to random guy in the background of a random shot) This guy is an amazing character. Yes, this one, partially hidden by the box. We don't know much about him which allows us to fill in the backstory ourselves. You see, he represents to poor and downtrodden, the ones that the empire oppressed into poverty and have only had improvements in their lives since the rebellion succeeded, the ones now at risk of never being able to succeed should the first order win. In a way, he is a perfect foil for both (rolls dice) Han Solo and Leia Organa. Han Solo is the type who thrives in times of oppression, using whatever means necessary, like smuggling or black market work, to leverage himself higher despite widespread depression. Leia, on the other hand was a silver spoon princess who lost everything. She had what (uses random name generator) Spurz Half-hidden (that was too perfect) never had but lost it anyway showing that the tyrannical regime is not good for anyone rich or poor.... He also had a wife and family and stuff like that. I'm done with this.

One time I got someone put into therapy. They had said something on twitter about how they were going to end it all, etc, etc, so I contacted the police in that person's hometown and told them I'd seen someone giving signs they were about to commit Sudoku and gave them the person's twitter profile. The next day I got an angry message and found the person had blocked me because apparently the police showed up at their door and their parents found out that (on multiple occasions) the person had made similar statements so the parents put them in therapy and limited their use of the internet. And apparently I was in the wrong for being concerned about their well-being. I'm guessing it was someone similarly crying wolf for attention, but you never know.

Instead to went full woke they dosed, season by season increasing a little bit. To mock ideologies and politics is not bad and the main revenge arc of tbe series is good, but the patronizing and constant will to indoctrinate the viewer, mix with the excuse for the writers fetiches sent the series to the bottom of the ridiculous. Nothing changes my mind that the dungeon and cake scene are legit sexual fantasies from the writers

😂😂😂 Boys hit a little close to the mark to get you all riled up huh kids? And as the say… There are people starving in the world. Your lives are hanging on a thread about what a fictional coneheaded alien said in a children’s movie (that hillbilly ex-con Gary used to sell meth to) to fuel your butthurt incel outrage because this particular show has a diverse cast and was written by a lesbian which flies in the face of your demented culture war grift because of “lore”. And you’re spending over an hour to whine about it 😂😂😂 Get laid you guys. You will never rise to the level of RLM’s critical analysis of media, as if the merits of your criticisms are any comparison 😂😂😂

0:48 I don’t think there’s a more efficient summary of how bad he is at lying/manipulation than trying to farm Father’s Day condolences a week and a half after saying _that._ Also, not only is it a week and a half later...not only is the mess behind him almost exactly the same...he’s wearing the _same shirt._ Those clips look like they could be from the same damn stream.

As soon as saw the first trailer for The Last Jedi I was concerned, I want Heir to the Empire. But I liked Boyega after seeing him in Attack the Block, so I curbed my concerns. Turned out that my concerns were more than justified with nearly every movie that The Evil Fucking Rat spewed out.
