Dang 3 years later, and there were still things I didn't know. Such as using Ravage Rake's flow immediately with LMB+RMB+S, and for some god forsaken reason, I never thought to try to get the extra air attack damage on twilight dash or slanted balance. Though in my experience. Those 2 are what get me the most CC's in the first place, so I can't really use it to follow up when it's already on CD hehe. Great video, still relevant 3 years later!

It is worth it to get back attacks in pvp absolutely. It will do increased damage just the same as down attacks or air attacks would

This probabaly the best guide to exist for bdo and i can say this because hou actually tell us the name of skill and order of skill while displaying the skill which is the beat thing ever everyone else has the 100 and 10 flashing things going on only showing the icon of the skills without even showing us the name or explaing it like you did i can actully get better with this omg dude thank youuuuuu!!!!!!

How do we grab the characters that are q blocks? Nova q runs straight when he throws a block grab.. its bug or what?

Its a bug yeah that for some reason has yet to be fixed. I find the best way to counter it is aim above the character. Its not always 100% but it tends to help. This bug will happen with any SA block class like warrior, valk and guardian.

Just tagged and copied her with my succ lahn which is not a great pvp class in succ because of the absence of the awk grab and some protection issues. I think she can earn the 240 mil for pvp when I need her and this video was a big help. I really haven't played her since that season where they were everywhere. I had hopes for corsair until I realized she'd be much better as my ocean babe. After a short grind I discovered that I'd forgotten how nasty she can be, so I need to get serious with her and pvp... thank you for this.

Can u do a Skill point guide please for awaken as everyone only does awaken sp and I see you have all pre awaken and rabam skills hotbarred

Most people don't do them cuz pre-awaken aren't needed. You could play 100% awakening and you'd be fine. That being said here are the skills I level up. Rabam: Quoratums Earth Rime Ice All the "command" skills towards the bottom of the tree. Cant remember names but there are 5 and inputs are: Shift+f, Shift+Q, Shift+lmb, Shift+rmb and then one is hotbared. It will say the word command before it. Icy Prison passed pawn quoratums protection punishing trap. Those should be all you really need if I didnt miss any

Just hold the direction of the dash and you'll dash twice. After the second dash, release the key inputs and Kama slash will come out

@@u.cowbai_s_yt It could be because it isnt levelled. I've never tested it with that. Typically its due to people not holding the input keys. But yeah try levelling it and then see if it works.

She's not tanky like mystic is but she's better than some of the other assassin style classes. The grab skill is Punishing Trap and is W+E on PC. The grab is very difficult to be good at. It has a delay and you must track the target with it during the delay. It's not a cone grab like other classes and must be very accurate to hit

Nova awakening need more fps like sorc awakening ?, I want play awakening Nova but idk with my computer run at 50/40 fps

Nova doesn't need a lot of fps like the older classes or sorc, warrior, dk. But you will feel frame drops. When using the skill comet, if your frames drop, you will teleport farther than expected and do reduced damage. But thats the same for a lot of damaging movement skills like shadowstomp

Nah using a controller makes things so much harder for bdo. I get console players coming to me all the time saying they can't do this or can't do that cuz they use a controller. Just learn the skill inputs one by one. Do some pve with them and get the muscle memory ingrained in your hands. Then start to practice the pvp combos. Or just practice the combos slowly on a dummy in battle arena. Slowly speed it up till your faster at it.

Nah Nova is surprisingly unprotected in awakening. Its a lot of bursting in trying for CC, doing chip damage and then getting out. Its so fast it can do this very well. Swooping ring is a super good movement skill cuz it doesnt cost stamina and is SA but its a lot of move in and out and then S-block.

Very late response but basically nothing, only requirements to unlock Quoratum's Earth, your grab, Shift F maybe and maybe Shift E if you need some burst healing in PvE.

Why not use the starfall before the riposte? That way you get air attack (2,5x) on riposte and you can proc t3 addons from the starfall earlier.

Dont play nova in pvp. Way too many gaps in your movement in awakening, in rbf your kd every 3 secs

@@scarrundir3150 chase = run or whatever its called. Compared to the other melee classes like warrior or musa , Nova has GIANT GAPS. And when you get kd. Your dead. So not very good IMO

@@scarrundir3150 yea. The foward guard as you walk backwards is what your referring too, i try to do that but in rbf when sages are popping out of and sorcs are as well. Then with Ranged classes like witchards teleporting and hitting from ranged. Trying to stop in between each of those dash's is a joke. That SA drops off and 3 people are already on you... Then 1 cc and your dead. What flow are you referring too? W the movement?

@@scarrundir3150 i am not the most experienced nova player. But i have played bdo too much for my own health. And movement is usually the only thing that can keep you alive. Because defense is not really an option. It just seems really lame that her SA on her movement is so handicapped.

@@edgarfigueiredo579 The flow I'm referring to is called twisted orbit. You dash normally and then do a dash again while stabbing, on PC its just lmb after dash, no idea what console is. On PC its really easy to change camera angle and dash around, chain you SA dashes with swooping ring and move around easily. Ngl, I imagine Nova on console would be terrible, you need so much camera flicking that a controller with aim accell just cant do lol. I'm sorry you're having trouble with the movement on Nova, but maybe its just not feasible to do it properly on Console. I have a few pvp videos on my channel where you can see how I move around and stay protected but I just dont see it being possible to recreate on console.
