I’ve seen the shrouded ghost, but only once. It was maybe 3 days ago, and I was in an open crew galleon leaving the outpost. As soon as it appeared, I realized it was the shrouded, but my crew completely ignored it, and after a few moments, it despawned as we passed too many islands. This is why I go megaladon-hunting solo.

When I was playing with my brother the shrouded ghost meg was the first Meg we encountered I had no idea what it was but my brother did and was freaking out 😅

i've killed the blue, purple and yellow variants, but i've never encountered the black or white ones. What I did encounter though, was a kraken immediately after setting sail for the first time. That was a great introduction to the game

i am not even kidding when I say this. I started playing this a few days ago with my friends who had ~lvl 20 reps. We were coming back from a cracked red skull vault raid, and we got hit by a shrouded ghost Meg.

A curse idea is "Scars of the damned curse" so itll be basically the ashen curse but instead of firey scars, itll have ghost scars. And to get this curse you'll have to complete a legend of the veil 3 times

This is a huge problem with this game at its core. All of the PVE encounters are incredibly dull, boring, and repetitive. I think I've been bitten by a megalodon two or three times total, other than that they just swim around my ship as I kill them and occasionally just run away. There's no thrill to it anymore Because I know nothing bad is going to happen and I just have to grind out a dozen cannonball shots on them or so. Same thing with any of the raid voyages, random boss encounters, just stand there and shoot them until they die and nothing bad happens. They rely on event rarity vs making the events actually difficult, challenging, or fun. The hardest part about any of the events is actually triggering the encounter not completing it. Which is exactly the opposite of what it should be.

So what about two days ago when I had two megalodons following me? blue and purp at the same time. Glitch? Was I on the border of two regions?

Hard time figuring out how to get the fish out of the rod honestly lol

tbh i fought the shrouted ghost once or twice but i got detroyed it was a 3 person crea and we dint know how to fight

Guys we just had a legendary fight with a megalodon. Unfortunatly our 2teamates left(we had a gallion) so me and my friend alone couldn't take him on and we lost all the loot

Shrouded ghost dose not exist in the main game. It’s a genius marking ploy to keep you playing the game even if you complete everything.

Yeah so I was playing last night, I was fishing when I saw a skeleton galleon. I chased it and started fighting it. Then a Meg spawned, then another player, a sloop, rolled up. It was funny as hell

i remember my buddies and i playing roughly when this game came out.. ship full of loot headed to sell it, and a Meg spawned.. we kept going to the island, maybe 50 feet out and it was still chasing us. I figured it was bugged, so i told my friends not to shoot it, and they didnt listen.. Ended up crashing our games and losing all our loot

i choose not to fish in this game. it’s the most headache activity this game has to offer. no other game is that difficult to deal a damn fish in. like wth.. i just wanna catch a fish, i don’t wanna exercise
