I was so frustrated because speedway told me the aluminum oil pan I ordered required a thin gasket and got me the part I “needed”. Went to install it after work all excited and shit just to have the same issue you had. Spent hours doing research and came across your video. Much respect for teaching me something and curing my problem. Thanks brother!

I didn’t know that. I got that same gasket with the 2 dipstick holes. No leaks. My 700r in my box Chevy wouldn’t shift. Mines just stayed in 1st. I Had to change the shift solenoid on the side. Hopefully yours something simple. You almost back outside 💯💪🏾🫡🎬🏆

@@87SSBOI I went thru this years back. I had the old one out, got the new one in from Autozone and noticed the new one looked “smaller”. I blew it off at first but said hmmmmm. Went to a different spot (NAPA) and asked. The clerk said yeah bro that’s the wrong one and that there were two different styles. I think he mentioned something about 2 bolt main vs 4 bolt main-I could be mixing up a different situation… it sucks cuz you get it all together only to find out it’s the wrong part.. 😩😩😩 I don’t blame you for taking a break… you got her done tho, learned something new and you passed the info on! That’s what it’s allll about! #eachoneteachone

Lookin good man! Did all that to my 87 M.C.S.S. 10 yrs. ago. Miledon pan,high vol. oil pump and all steel pump shaft w/ the blue Felpro gasket. No leaks to this day.Looks like you'll be set for a long time now as well. Good work!Good videos!

CVT transmission. Emily and her mother have a 2022 Honda CR-V and Pathfinder. Both vehicles are doing exactly what your car is, and all three have the same transmission. The only difference is the suvs both have under 70,000 miles.

Yea those CVTs ain’t it…I’m determined to get this one on the road tho..if it’s the trans I’ll just grab one from the yard and see how long it lasts 😂 2022 is crazy tho…this a 09 so I can live with it but 2022👀😫

@@87SSBOI yeah it’s crazy. Emily’s is still drivable around town, but her mom’s went out completely last Sunday. They told her 7k for just the transmission. From what the techs are saying, most go out because people don’t keep their coolant level at the max level. The CVT is belt driven and the slightest increase in temperature will cause the belts to slip, break, or damage the gaskets.

CRT Transmission! I had the same problem with my Nissan Murano. It was a great car with 0 problems. As soon as i hit 180,000 miles the trans went out. It was doing this same exact thing.

If it is the transmission you might as well junk it or sell for parts. Unless is newer with low miles, it's not worth fixing.
