Elucid deserves so much more praise. I do think when it comes with rap ability Billy is a little better (then again Billy is better than 99.9% of rappers). But Elucid brings so much to the table in terms of lyrics, production, and his odd singing ability. Take Stonefruit for example:)

Can you do a video on Joey Badass or Capital STEEZ? I feel like they both also play with the English language in cool ways especially at such young ages

His delivery is so key to me. My favourite verse from him is on Arkeology from Brass, and for so long I had no idea what he was saying. But the lines just stayed in my head for weeks on end until I figured them out, because the delivery was so unique and authoritative.

the more i try and research it the more ive become to dislike it, this album's driving me insane because trying to find anything interesting or meaningful from this album feels like looking for needles in a haystack but they didn't bother getting actual needles so instead you're looking for images of needles they printed and cut out themselves

You should also check out Camouflage, his first album, made with Vordul in 2003. It's a little less polished than his later work, but it's still a brilliant album, billy was built different from the getgo.

I'm currently learning about poetry from Dana Gioia's youtube channel. I have no idea who he is, but he taught me that poetry isn't abstract, whereas in the past, I used to think it's the opposite. He changed my perspective on great vs mediocre lyricism/literature. There is no benefit in confusing the writer. Your writing can still have depth without completely alienating the audience.

It’s so hard to put down like you said because it’s so dense but endeavoring to do that I’ve acquired the taste for the way the album sounds so hard. I think that’s so amazing because it’s like there making so if you really want to get everything they say you’ll have to love the sound of it

I love this album, but there's something you should know - two songs from the album, Headband and Frozen Sunlight, are not on Spotify, they're on the Bandcamp version. I particularly like Headband, it's woods rapping over In The Light by Led Zeppelin (which is probably why it's not on Spotify) and he sounds so fucking tight on it.
