I was out grooming my front yard today and as I was cutting away some out of control ground cover I found a baby cottontail nested down in the root structure. I didn’t touch it but I’m worried that the mother won’t come back since I disturbed its habitat. Hopefully she will come back and relocate it tonight. I go out and check on it. It seemed to be uncomfortable and fidgeting around a lot earlier cause I cut away it’s covered from the direct sunlight so I covered it with some reflective solar barrier that I had in the garage cause it got a touch over 100 degrees here in Phoenix today.

I have learned so much from watching this incredible channel! I love the way Martin talks to and about all of your beautiful creatures! It’s incredibly troubling to see such a sick bird from lead poisoning. It looks to me that most of Martin’s injured animals have encountered man-made obstacles or poisons. What a dangerous world we are making for ourselves and our fellow creatures!

Love the turkey vultures! 30 - 50 roost in the trees next door to me every night. I call them 'the guys'. They sure are such beautiful majestic creatures and I love seeing them soar in at night and spread their wings to the sun in the mornings or after the rain. I sure do miss them when they migrate. Keep up the great work you're doing! Marie

I had the pleasure of seeing two of these beautiful golden eagles two days ago! They flew up out of the ditch as I was driving and I was able to watch them for a few seconds! This is in rural Nebraska!

The other day I was walking next to the house (I live in the Mojave Desert) and I saw this little fuzzy butt crawling weakly around a pot. I grabbed him real quick and he gave me a tiny little bite. He looked done. His mouth was stuck open and he was cold, but he was still alive. I brought him in and gave him some water on his mouth. He stirred a little. I held him in my hand with a towel over us, he needed to heat up real fast. Then he started to move more. I made up some baby oatmeal and forced him to eat with a syringe, he resisted, very fidgety, but I told him he didn't have a choice. I researched online and they said be sure and check the area again because there could be more. I found #2. Fast forward 3 days later and they're thriving and warm, I have them in a cage/box with a heating pad. "Logan'' has to be coaxed but "Riley" is always ready to eat. They always want to burrow into my hand so feeding them is a challenge. They're starting to eat more each time They're the size of your little feller at 9 minutes their eyes are half open. Great idea the fish tank that would be perfect for them as they grow. Thank you for your helpful video. I was wondering what to leave on the ground for them to hide in once they're free. I have some of my goats alfalfa hay. Later I'll free them in the area I found them.

I am an illustator and one of my favourite things to paint are vultures! I LOVE this video, poor little mite! It is precious! I think they are gorgeous! Edit in: Oh, the feathers and bones not eaten is very very interesting indeed! There is precision and also the knowledge that it won't be digestible, or very hard to digest. How fascinating to learn! Thank you for your help with this precious vulture and all the other birds you help! All lives matter! .....except parisites..😅 we all could live without parasites.
