I found out recently that the water source can cause leaf browning because of all the chlorine and floriod in city water. One should draw their water and let it sit out at least 12 hrs. 24 hrs is better. You could also collect rain water or buy distilled water.

I'd say this plant is very resilient, I almost killed it but one stem and I moved it to the windowsill as a last attempt to save it. It was winter and away from the window so if you want it to survive the winter definitely have it on the windowsill.

Hi thank you for your video. I use the bits on top and yes there’s mold but I don’t care as long as it doesn’t hurt my plant. I like the idea of your tea and will try it in the future. I got fungus gnats a few weeks ago as soon as the weather got warm. I pulled out my mosquito bits and yellow traps. I have the yellow traps in all my plants. Bigger plants two. And at this point all is well.

On the sand. Vermiculite is a better option, I think. It’s color blends well with soil and its much coarser than sand. It’s a soil additive so if any gets into soil mix doesn’t matter. Another way of sterilizing potting/soil mix is pouring boiling water over soil mix and letting it sit. Gary P. At the Rustic garden does this. Neem cake works too and it also is a mild fertilizer. Haven’t found a 100% solution, except using semi hydro. Still experimenting.

I find it to be a very fuzzy plant. I don't understand what i am doing wrong with it. But i have some stems dying off. Am i letting dry off too much or over watering it? I do have it in a clay draining pot. I did moved it from a sunny window to a less sunny spot and was doing well but than ½ off the stems died! I want to propagate some of it just incase i kill it off. Am I letting it dry off to much or over watering it?😢

I personally don't think the moisture meters are all that accurate as I've had plants bone dry that will read as moist And vis versa of course There so cheap Im going to try a digital Meter see if it's more accurate

So do you always bottom water your Oxalis?
@Botanibabies
@Botanibabies 6 ай бұрын
Not always, I had a really bad gnat problem I was trying to control 😭. Bottom watering can help to keep the top of the soil dry and not make it so inviting for gnats and their eggs

GORGEOUS Maranta!! I have one and it's almost died on me at least three times!! This Summer I almost lost her to Spider mites and, so I took it out of soil, placed it in water for a few months, in this time I applied insecticidal soap and once I saw that there were no more Spider mites, I repotted it and placed it in front of my Southeast-facing, and now it's thriving!! Can't wait yo propagate it!!❤❤❤

Nice vid. I have a braided Cylindrica 5 inches tall in a small 3in pot and it's growing 3 babies. Do you think I need to move it to a bigger pot or is the small pot it's in ok?
@Botanibabies
@Botanibabies 7 ай бұрын
Small pot is okay! They have shallow roots and kinda like being in the same pot for a while. Make sure to aerate the soil every now and then and fertilize in the summer 🙂.

I am so glad I found your channel! I brought home a clipping from the work plant to trim it back, so it still looked beautiful on the counter. The work mama has 2-3 inch leaves and mine have 7" leaves! It is growing like a weed. I needed to know how to propagation as it is now so long that it is sitting on the floor from the table lol. Thank you so much!

I have a tree philodendron that I bought in 1990. It was on the clearance rack, what I call the they tried to kill it rack. Was in a 6 inch pot. Now it has been divided twice into two 14 inch and one 10 inch pots. Just realized I have had this plant half of my life.
