I remember since it was just like only 2-3 mos. ago when people especially Genshin fans were mocking WuWa for being too generous for giving out a total of 4 five stars(3 characters and 1 weapon) saying that they were desperate, the game sucks that's why they needed to do it and that no one would play WuWa if they didn't "bribe" people with ridiculous free rewards. Fast-forward to now, look what we have here Genshin of all gacha games finally giving a free 5* 🤣. All we should just say is thanks WuWa for existing if not for that game Genshin would have still "NEVER" done something like this despite how mid their "anniversary" rewards are compared to WuWa's launch rewards.

Knowing you win/lose the 50/50 before you open it would've been a big L imo. That's where the fun is coming from in gacha and why someone like me is addicted to gacha - the thrill of not knowing whether you win or lose. It's more satisfying to win that way.

Clarification on two things: The fancy 55/45. An easy way to think of it is this: you're ahout to lose the 5050 but then you trigger the 10% chance to not lose the 5050 (the fancy orange/pink glow) then you win your 5050. The artifact elixir: You can make 1 per cycle from artifacts (we dont know what a cycle is) and you get 1 from f2p BP while premium gets i think 2? Also the costs for making an artifact vary: Flowers and Feathers cost 1 Elixir. Sands cost 3 Elixir Goblets cost 4 Elixir Circlet is still blank None of this is leaks. It was in the livestream if you slow it down. Except the feather im speculating on that. Also we're limited to crafting what seems to be 1 artifact per set with the Elixir per cycle.

I'm going to be real Besides the freebies: 1. Weapon banner is still shit compared to limited banners, all because of those annoying fate points. If you fail to get that weapon you will have to restart afresh in another weapon banner if you couldn't pull the weapon of your desire 2. 5 star selector for new players is good. For old players? Not that much. I see more people either getting the ones they don't have or getting a free pull from there instead lol 3. Choosing Main and sub stats is actually the main thing, especially for those trying to build that God forsaken crimson witch of flames from that annoying domain. With it I can finally get rid of the annoying pyro dmg bonus that has no crit sub stats lol. But knowing Genshin, getting those things as f2p will be hell. So I still believe Wuwa echos > Genshin artifacts 4. Harder content at WL9? Finally! I'm actually tired of Oneshotting everything with Arlechinno in my opinion Overall good changes but nah Imma stick with Wuwa

Too little too late, Hoyo. Although I have to admit it is nice seeing their greedy asses having to bend the knee. I wish all Genshin players the best, but for me, I am done with any and every Hoyoverse product.

wow these are some big changes. more likely i will pull for weapons now. this is my thought. when the game detects you lose 50 50...they do another quick re spin but with higher rates. for the 5 star free...i played genshin for at 3 years. i rather have 20 more limited pulls than a free standard character tbh but i can see how this selector is great for newer players. this reminds me of blue archive getting spooked. you know how you need 7 of the characters to c6 a character... well i lost six 50 50s on itto and only won one 50 50. indeed. losing 50 50 is a pain im a welkin moon buyer

c4 Mona is actually among the strongest buffers in the game, ahead of c2 Kazuha, c6 Bennett, and c3 Furina. She's also easy to use in teams that can't quite sync with the other top tier supports. So, if close to c4, I'd recommend Mona over any of the other choices.

This 5-star selector is a couple years too late. Most of those characters are powercreeped to oblivion and pretty useless. I would preferred to get 10 pulls instead of this tbh. It changes nothing. It would be so much better if it was selector for all the 1.x limited characters.

When you get the new animation the event character is guaranteed but you can also get the normal animation and still get the event character. even in a 50/50 situation

If you're on 50/50, especially if you lost a lot of 50/50 recently, there's a random chance to activate the "Capturing Radiance". If it is activated, you'll see the animation AND you are guaranteed to get the temporary 5* of the banner. Overall that means the odds of getting a temporary 5* is increased from 50/50 to 55/45. Now if the "Capturing Radiance" animation doesn't trigger, it doesn't mean you lost your 50/50.

Not better when this was after 4 years + they haven't fixed the major issues with the game, example map exploration feels too slow because of scuffed climbing + shit stamina bar and also because its pay 2 win litrly, you need the 5 star weapons that give you speed + best exploration units and the exploration still doesn't feel right. Major issue too is the no Skip Cutscene button.
