In my opinion, there is no way in hell Stannis doesn't win the battle of the ice. With everything and with all the setup being established for this battle, Stannis has all the advantages. Ramsey is advancing on Stannis is a snow storm that offers virtually no visibility; and if the context clues are to be believed, Stannis will lure the Bolton forces onto an ice lake with that light thing and then break the ice. Stannis also has the position advantage outside of the ice lakes because he can very easily lead their forces also in between in the lakes and trap them on all sides. There also the fact that this battle is also likely when the Manderley's will betray the Boltons and turn on them mid-battle. Stannis is 100% winning this battle.

Your videos are cool but pretty much all of them have glaring mistakes. For example, even the very first thing you put in this video was wrong. Balon did not start randomly raiding the coast of the Westerlands. His first move was a surprise attack on Lannisport that destroyed the Lannister fleet. Balon didn’t do anything before Lannisport. Also the Redwyne fleet never “retook” Fair Isle because Balon never took it in the first place. Victarion was surprised by the Redwyne fleet because their first act was to meet him in battle in the straits not to “retake” fair isle or whatever. You’re just adding your own headcanon but it’s just wrong. Also you didn’t even include an annotation about the battle in the straits of fair isle?? That’s the only major naval battle of this war why would you not include that? I get you just made this videos for fun and you probably don’t even look at your channel anymore since it’s so old but this is all wrong lol. It’s the same for all your other videos there’s just glaring lore mistakes

I don't read the books but why did Stannis go north and abandon his lands in the Stormlands? Is it because he could no longer protect them and fled?
@mrsupremegascon12 күн бұрын
Because the big tiddy red waifu told him to do so.
@kestrel58956 күн бұрын
yes and no, and mostly yes After failing to take Kingslanding pretty much every one of his vassals in the Stormlands are captured and swear fealty to Joffrey, so he loses all of the Stormlands quickly. After the Night's Watch sends letters asking for help against the 30k wildling army, Stannis decides because Melissandre claims is his destiny as the chosen one(TM) and also because he claims is what is required also. So basically he abandons Dragonstone with all his army because fighting in the south is pretty much over Also he planned to restart his campaign by having the north side with him either by getting Jon or "Arya" on his side

I don't understand how the iron men earned their reputation as warriors, they are terrible strategists. While reading Theon's father's plans I was like "Now you have two enemies when you could have an ally against a common enemy." The north had nothing against them until they could against them. because he was supposedly "more vulnerable." I'm glad the old man fell off a bridge and Theon's manhood was cut off, they deserve it for being so stupid hahahahaha.

Honestly dont get why Balons stupid ass decided to attack the NORTH??? of all places like sure revenge is sweet but cmon man raid the fucking reach and westerlands if u want ur riches and food even if he didnt want to work with the north its still infinitely preferrable to wipe out the Lannister and Reach Fleets and become undisputed in the sea the Reach and westerlands would be too focused fighting the much smaller forces of the North and Stormlands

The North crushed the greyjoys during their rebellion and took theon as ward so it was petty revenge
@invictus61764 күн бұрын
@@user-mh7qx8sk8y It wasn’t JUST the North tho, that’s the point of my comment Balon should’ve crushed the fleets of the other Kingdoms first to become undisputed on land and then after they’ve depleted the North’s forces and the rest go and take over the North atp there was no reason to cripple the north further when it was facing oppositions at all sides. It’s just silly Balon could’ve easily won the game if he just played nice with the North temporarily.

It’s a shame we’ll probably never see the end of the series because the way it’s being set up is so cool. Stannis’ army cutting through the North while a grand northern conspiracy ousts those who stabbed Robb in the back. The Others follow in his wake. The Vale stews under a scheming Baelish but could enter the fray at any time. Euron and the Ironborn are going all out in the Reach while Young Griff is chipping away at the Stormlands. The Lannisters are increasingly weak and divided, and Dorne has plenty of reason to strike while the iron is hot. On top of all that, Daenerys and her dragons could enter the scene at any time and completely flip over the game board. The Lannisters are royally fucked, but there’s so many players in the game that’s it’s really up in the air how everything shakes out.
