I have acne since puberty at 12….been blight of my life and slightly improve around 40 with menopause. I am now 60 and now have rosacea acne ( different kind of spot that don’t come to head).I have been on Lymecycline for about 2 years as preventative and they worked. Unfortunately they are a low antibiotic and can mess with your gut, and I was getting bad indigestion every couple o months, I think as a result of the medication. So have stopped taking them and have not had that problem since, so weighed up that problem against the acne. My daughter was given roaccutane not once but twice and 15 years on still has acne, just do not expect that will be the end of the problem, and it is a unpleasant medication..I just want people taking Lymecycline to be aware in case they have problems digestion, and do not link it to the medication. I do really envy girls with flawless skin as my mother said as a child I had that skin till puberty, and just advise hormonal changes from pregnancy and menopause is more likely to help. Good luck as I do know how you feel❤

Thank you for the comment, I really appreciate the thought and care for myself and others. Since being on these tablets for 3/4 months, I have no longer needed them and have always had an awful diet to not directly confirm these tablets have been a cause but I will be cautious from now on going forward. 🩷

Hey lovely, thank you so much for watching 🥰 ooh good luck with skin + me, keep me and all of us updated! so initially I would say yes, you would break out but please don’t forget that everyone’s skin is different! You may or may not, of course the experts at skin + me will be able to advise better, but from my experience I did in fact break out. To me, starting any new acne treatment, your skin will get worse before better but it’s so so worth it! Initially the ingredients in your daily doser are quickening your skin cell turnover, which means it will push all the rubbish to the surface of the skin which can also be called as purging 😊 you’ve got this though, take progress pictures - even if it’s really uncomfortable and upsetting, to go back and see the befores and afters is so worth it!x

How long did you get in the blue lagoon all together? Trying to work out if it's better to do a combination excursions like yourself or off it's worth booking direct from the airport to get a little bit longer in there. Did you feel rushed or was it plenty of time ? TIA x

I would say a good comfortable hour, you have a good 10 minutes to get changed etc. some people on our tour decided to use the food facilities but majority of us went straight for the lagoon! personally if I were to go back to Iceland (defo planning to!) I would travel the south side and go straight to blue lagoon from the airport, seeing as I’ve done it once it was lovely to go to after the long volcano tour, but I highly recommend spending a good half day or entire day / overnight stay or at least the restaurant if you can! we didn’t feel rushed but I know how I’ll do it next time x

Hey! I’ll be honest I didn’t find it that thin and dry for as long as I thought I would, a couple of weeks if that and then it got a lot better!

Yeah lovely that’s fine, as long as there isn’t any active ingredients or chemicals you should be fine! You can always ask the inkey list customer service team for advice, they’re great!

@@Stephywyatt Penang's an island so I can't say about the main land. There are some amazing temples for lots of religions, even a snake temple. It's quite built up but still has rain forests and beaches ⛱ Bali is less touristy. Go to Tanah Lot, visit a volcano or two, snorkel/dive, again lots of temples, and go to Ubud which is home to artists of different types.

@@Stephywyatt Sorry, I meant to say have you thought about a few days in Hong Kong? Disneyland there is great and they're working on a Frozen land. You could go to Ocean Park too, which has a good mix of rides and animals. Just an idea ⛩
