Well after the last few videos I've watched, the answer is no, they're not. You will get new foliage, new camo patterns, a rather useless quad bike, another, likely unkillable, item in the form of the dropship and guns jamming randomly but, no, the spawning system is "there to stay" . The problem is that we are deal with emotional devs, who really never grew past the age of 6 yo, and that are now getting personal about imposing this system on a player base that does not want it. GG (not) 😂

They call it Mechanism because it isnt reload. Pressing R default, racks the weapon. Holding R reloads a new Mag.

Seen prior Colours events where some teams had almost zero gear and others were elite kitted! I think you did very well 🎉❤🎉 Good teamwork, in my honest opinion, at the very beginning. Grabbing extra weapons/vests to share with your teammates.🎉 I have suggested it to Happy before that for this event only he should manually place those convoys & trains that usually spawn only randomly. Just the ones out near the coast. Had that been the case, you could have sprinted right past the hunters camp and the first 2 roadside tents to the convoy and possibly found better equipment.

Rattle the cages of some teammates and other streamers who participated. Would love to see some video montages where the viewer can see multiple perspectives 🎉❤🎉

On a standard unmodified dayz server thay spawn in 100 metres as you get to the spawn area for them. It causes server lag for a second or two depending on the server host. On scum they spawn around you depending on the puppet count. Whilst similar they are not the same. Scums spawns are linked to the encounter system which at this moment is better than the vid release but still broken. The encointer system is like dayz's CLE. But just for puppets.

Agree I have 2000 h in this Game only PvP since 0.5 and with 0.95 i quit… We had now 4 Updates nearly Everything they made was PvE stuff and after the 1000 Car fall under the Map and the PvE Puppets to Entertain them was to much for me😂

They need to roll back the puppet and animal spawning/tracking back to 0.80 and leave it alone. 😅 Scum was my go-to game, and I loved hunting in it. In both puppet and animal terms, the world feels so dead now. I just can't immerse myself while chasing ghosts in the hunting minigame that delivers an animal in front of you. Can't snipe puppets from outside town. Can't look for the footsteps of a fleeing animal..... The magic feels gone. Imagine if they had a 0.80 Legacy Server...

The game won't fail simply because the puppets spawn weird. I only just started playing about a couple month ago and have zero point of reference for how it used to be and so far me and my buds are having a blast. I can see why older players don't like it and I'll agree it could be way better, but assuming the game is going to completely fail as a result of that one issue is some serious over dramatization. To any new player there are much bigger fish to fry, especially considering their is a legitimate trade off with performance (I assume this is a streaming issue).

I enjoyed more the before 0.85 spawn system than this. at least that one you could see what's coming and help you prepare for it. This one, they just keep coming and coming and coming and even spawn over your heads. Including wild life.

The devs lost their vision of the game early on in developement. They listened to the cries of the vocal minority and went against much of what their initial vision was for the game. They won't be changing the spawn system. They still think they can fix it by slight changes to it. It will never be worth a shit. Game is a lost cause with no real direction.

Some people do hack. Rare. But if it's not a vanilla server. Run into the person who is running that server. You're meeting god.

People have been leaving the game for a long time. I was in during initial early access and with most updates, there was always a handful of updates to further degrade the game. I can't remember a time when the devs ever cared about player feedback and so instead of steadily improving it has only steadily degraded. Everything they do seems to make it more unappealing, rarely... if ever, improving. Now I see that since I last played they've added a bunch of skins, and yet the game is still in early access. The game is in a perpetual state of Early access and will probably end development before it officially launches.

It is a sorry state of afairs. Gaming in general is not gaming. But revenue generators. I have givin up on any new release that gets me excited. Been gaming since 1980.

I seriously don't think they understand the problem here. Puppets spawning "on" us is just one part of the problem... I wouldn't mind hordes spwning in if you make too much noise. That idea is fine. But there needs to be more puppets - and they need to spawn in when you're AT LEAST 300+ meters away from a PoI/town. Scoping out a town/PoI from 300, 200, 100 meters away and no puppet in sight is just... Immersion breaking. And when you've cleared an area? It needs to stay clear for a while.
