I’ve had hives occur three times in the last two years, the first two were after exposure to my family who had Covid. The third was after a ten-day issue with intense poison ivy itching. These hives always occur on my hands, neck, and now face. The poison ivy was a localized issue on my wrists and has stopped itching. The poison ivy was not spread. These are hives. It seems my body keeps overreacting to stimuli in a histamine way, but antihistamines, even high doses and combining, do very little to help. Cold air and cold water help at the time. I’m going crazy with the itching.

Dr could not solve these issues they give you steroids to make it worse

I have had eczema since I was 2 years old and didn't find about most of my allergies like cat fur and dogs, dairy, eggs and fragrance till I was about 12 which was good because it helped me understand why I was so Itchy when I was at my house but not when I would to visit my dad or someone since we lived in a rural area while we had a dog and two cats with the most ironic being that my mum worked for a fragrance company our house being full with them lol. Not to mention waking up and having to vacuum my bed with all the dead skin and pieces of eczema I would unconsciously scratch through my sleep as well as having blood stains here and there on my bed sheets. By the time I got to high school stress levels were out the roof since on my first to third week I was gone because of my eye surgery because I had keratoconus which was from be rubbing my eyes to much since I had eczema around them too. Learning to meditate and calm helped since If. I messed up or felt stressed scratching was like a coping system for me whether I was awake or through the night I would do it. I just hope I can get rid of this skin for good as soon as I can because every time I heal it to Its full extent It comes right back when I run out of cream, especially in summer and spring time.

I have found that the only antihistamine that really prevents itching is the prescription-only medication Hydroxyzine, which has been around for decades.
