Is Voice of Resurgence really better then Wight of the Reliquary? Following some of their boardwipes by going "here is a 6/6 vigilance" is pretty nice.

I was just brewing something similar with a couple meathooks, grists, and reanimates! I haven't play tested it yet for lack of wildcards but I'm excited to try. Is ajani really not good enough without red? Even just the token production and ease of flipping it makes me want at least 2. I also have some priest of forgotten gods in but I think I'm cutting them for better interaction. I want to find a way to pay for an extra nightmare activation with priest though. Seems fun.

Ive been running a very similar version. I run Phlage with Nightmare. I also decided to run 1 bombardment over the 4th Nightmare

I've been dreading to see when someone eventually added shifting woodlands to show and tell. S&T is already so dominant, now it's even worse. 😭

game 5 opponent missed lethal. They need to lili themself and sac grief to get 1 damage off the wicked role. Then you die in upkeep to the one ring

Also with how low the curve and payoff is in this deck I think demonic tutor actually could be really powerful here instead of a 4th Atraxa. Since you can either use it to go into a turn 3 Reanimate on Atraxa (if you have frog down already or 1 in the yard) or find Ephemerate or Solitude if you need them. Also could definitely cut Suncleanser out of the board and move the basic plains there for the 2nd Hallowed Fountain since there aren't that many decks running maindeck Blood Moon and you already have a ton of great cards vs Boros Energy.

I'm just trying out your version (I've played Boros before) and I'm liking it so far. Made a few changes because I like Goblin Bombardment so much that I'm playing 2 copies (I cut 1 Bowmaster for it) and I also run Lightning Bolt over Swords (I have 2 Swords in the sideboard though). Also changed 1 Bloodstained Mire for 1 Arena of Glory. I do have question though because I don't see the use of it. What is the Prismatic Ending for in the sideboard? At best you can exile a 3cmc permanent for 3mana with it but only at sorcery speed. And that just doesn't seem worth it to me plus I'm really struggling to see what you target with that you can't bolt or swords instead.

I think primal prayers will find a home at some point but I think it needs a bit more tinkering and probably needs its own core and not just the boros energy core.

Just curious, I'm checking out Timeless for the first time. What are the main reasons you love it?

Is it normal for energy decks to run deafening silence? I play a lot of show and tell and haven't ran into it. Too strong against s&t! Love your timeless content btw

Awesome tech dude! I've been working on the same problem with RB scam, only I tried a different approach to improving top decks by building it more aggressive with DRC (gameplay on my channel). I've also been playing mono Black and love Dark Rit/Ring/Sheoldred, so I'm loving this list! Thanks for sharing, will definitely give it a try!

Agree on Troll. As a zoo main pre-MH3, you had to race it or draw Leyline. But post-MH3 energy decks often have enough tokens to block it, don't mind blocking if that helps them flip their Ajani, and have lots of life gain to give them an edge in the race. Very poorly positioned at the moment.

I played a bunch more with the deck after recording and it does feel really sweet. The play patterns are really similar to the old Mono Black One Ring deck which makes me super happy. Kroxa also continued to overperform for me, it was originally in the deck just for red/black color count, but it won me several games. Hasty escaped Kroxa with Arena of Glory is disgusting!
