It is a trend now in gaming industry.. The bigger the dev studio, it never meant for them to develop better games, the bigger the studio, the less focus and more chaotic they are at their goals. Sure they can hire historians, hire professionals, etc. to look good. But that is about it. At this point no matter how much critics and complains (especially positive ones for the sake of fun) are fall into deaf ears. western games... if there are no direct threat to their market competition, they do not progress to make good games. If a contender suddenly appear, they just crumble and start to hire damage control groups.

Btw Paradox please please add historical invasions to the game. We need a LOT more of some random nobody coming out of nowhwere and taking over empires. Everyone currently just waits for temujin to show up, we need more similar stuff like Tamerlane and the Fatimids in the 867 play through. Otherwise the game becomes stale.
