Hi Beth! I am a fan. I love the way that you deliver your content. Your voice and well mannered approach is very engaging and believable. I have been a Kerastase user since I was a teenager. Now that I am “older” and with long hair I have discovered that Kerastase has a whole line dedicated to blonds/grey/ platinum hair. I have been using the oil specific for these shades. It is lovely with a beautiful delicate fragrance that fades away after a while. It is the Blond Absolu Huile Cicaextreme.

Something I'm enjoying about Detroit is how the Lions are playing. Hope they make it even farther next season.

I have grey hair with a wave pattern like yours. It takes 3 hours to air dry, sometimes longer if there is humidity. I have been blow drying it straight for over fifty years. Lately, I noticed that my hair is getting a bit damaged from blow drying so I decided to stop. I have a lot of frizz even with air drying. I’m trying to find hair products that will help with the frizz. My hair is looking healthier, but still have annoying frizz. If I use too much conditioner it makes my hair flat and I lose my curl pattern. I guess it’s trail and error to find my hair routine.

I’m working on blending my root line and I always loved my curls/waves though they can be challenging at times due to frizz (especially now that I’m older and white/gray mostly). I actually love your hair with your silver curls and am working towards having mine look similar in the moths and tears to come.

I'm nearly 50 and still have long hair and curls, but now they are mixed in with grays that resemble fishing line. Everything is changing! I just found your channel today and you are telling my story. I have always hated my curly hair and jealous of straight hair. Now at 68 I am embracing my gray curly hair and learning how to take good care of curls. I appreciate all the information you are sharing. I had negative comments over the years because of the frizz, like "did you stick your finger in a light sockett?" But now I look forward to enjoying the haire I was born with.

I am encouraged by your story. I have taken a similar approach with slowly lightening my hair before I ditched the dye. I have always heard cool tones are best for grey or silver hair. Taupe is good too.

I don’t mind looking older I am just afraid of looking ugly. Bc generally I think going gray has been thought of as letting yourself go but when if you still do your hair and makeup 💄 it looks nice. I am 9 Months in and the times when you have to go to social gatherings is when it’s the hardest

It's beautiful! I stopped coloring in September of '21, and even then we were just doing a semi permenant "tint" every 3 months or so. I'm under 5' tall so everyone can see the top of my head. I really wanted to avoid the white stripe, so we had been using less and less foils over several years. I am envious of yours though! I think I'm about 30% gray, and feel like I'm going to be salt & pepper for another decade at this rate. 😄

When I first grew my hair out 4 years ago it was very different. It’s gotten very fine.

My brows are mainly brown with Grey through it. My hair is more blonde gray than silver. I'm just not sure what to use

Your curly hair is stunning!! Also, I think you look really fresh and ‘youthful’ (whatever that means) is when you are showing more skin, ie more open necklines.

My journey is very similar to yours. I ditched the dye during the pandemic and we used platinum blonde on the transitions lines. Finally cut out all the blonde ends in 2022 and had a 4" cut this past Feb to get rid of all the damage. Love my color, my curls and waves. Good morning, gorgeous Beth! I like the Ivory shade better. I always tend to go with a more golden tone foundation. I've yet to try the Jones Road What The Foundation. I'm currently loving the About Face foundation. It's positively lovely. Your brows look amazing. I like the Bright Pink lip & cheek. The Tawny Nude looks great as a contour.
