If you are a heavy sweater that cloth sweatband is completely useless. You will have a sweat stain and salt deposits on the outside base of the crown and inner edge of the brim, very quickly. I say this based on much experience. There are very good reasons why sweat bands are usually leather. Being made of wool, I would like to see these hats after a couple of years wear. My expectations are low. Wool hats get fuzzy and beat up looking faster than the buyer may expect.

Stetson dress hats have Very thin felt that will warp with just a bit of rain, giving you an ugly wavy brim that you will not want to wear. Get a Selentino or Akubra for a hat that will last for years with only a bit of care. Stetson cowboy hats are tough but not their dress hats. Avoid disappointment, avoid Stetson dress hats.

I’ve heard this gentleman say a couple times not to put a hole in a felt hat. Regarding the Stetson Chatham Fedora, he stated it will last a lifetime if you don’t put a hole in it. What does this do to a hat?

I like that Arlo , if it was available in camo I would use it for fishing and hunting. The Stetson hats I have are my favorites but the wild turkeys see them . I guess they don't care for them.

I ware hats daily all year long. Weave is most important in straw hats. To tight a weave can be just as hot as a Wool or Felt hat wore during cool months.You need a straw hat that breathes allowing air flow for cooling in hot sunny weather. Also Lenin headband rather then leather ban around the inside of hats crown area is also cooler. Plus taller crowns are cooler then shorter crowns. Heat rises to the top away from your scalp area. Just some things I've learned from experience.
