To me the most important Link is Fierce Diety... We have the story in full of where the Hero of Skies came from or how that started basically but we don't have the story of where the Fierce Diety Link came from in it's entirety. All we have to go from is from the Manga which is non-canon (I got this next part from Reddit): In the Majora's Mask manga by Akira Himekawa, Link receives the Fierce Deity's Mask from Majora and becomes Fierce Deity Link during his fight against it. In a flashback of Majora, it is revealed that while as a dragon, a mysterious man bearing a strong resemblance to the Fierce Deity in both appearance and clothing, had visited Majora. The man played music for the dragon, who danced for three days and three nights before dying. The man then carved the Majora's Mask from the creature's hide, hoping to seal its power. It is hinted in the story that the stranger is in fact a god, the first being that is able to overcome the beast of Majora, and that it does so with music that controls the flow of time. So I want to know where this "God" originated from? Was it possibly the Hero of the Skies? If Majora was a Dragon originally, by canon, then wouldn't it make sense that it was? Because Link rides the Skyloft in Skyward Sword and could battle the Dragon easier that way? Or is it the Link from Ocarina of Time and Majora potentially was created by Link himself in order to bring himself to Termina for some reason on his quest to find Navi? Maybe so he could find another fairy friend who MIGHT know of Navi's whereabouts. You can link the entire story together with the story of the Fierce Diety and Nintendo knows it but they are holding back on revealing there secrets, I believe.

I will say one reason why he may not have chosen his sister to be Elden Lord is simply because she couldn't wether because she was a fellow Empyran or hosting an outer god it jsy may not have been possible cause the title of King Consort I do not think is romantic in nature, simply just a title that can also be romantic

So I just got to 24:44, and yeah, idunno, I can't help but feel like it might be the opposite, to be honest... Like, if he knew Malenia was trying to kill him so he could become Miquella's consort, and he didn't want that, wouldn't the obvious choice be TO kill her when her arm is off? So she couldn't kill him and force it to happen? Also, I can't remember if there was actually evidence for this being true or if it's just a rumour I ended up falling for, but I'm pretty sure I've heard a few times now that Miquella offered Radahn a death in battle, something he wanted, if he agreed to be his consort. And with Radahn patiently waiting for Malenia to reattach her arm so they can continue the fight, I can't help but feel like that's a good sign that he's hoping for exactly that, for her to kill him there in their battle, you know?

It makes me wonder, just how bad would he have been, really, if Miquella hadn't messed with his head? Would he have been worse? Better, perhaps? It also casts new light on White Mask Varre's dialogue, in which he describes doubting the two fingers (representatives of the Greater Will and the Golden Order, which Miquella is implied to have rebelled against), an something about the Moghwyn dynasty bringing about an "age of love", or something like that. These lines have Miquella's influence written all over them, now that we know his full story!

Miquella is the best option for the Lands Between. Formsoft characters are never 100% moral, nor innocent, nor perfect. But Miquella is the closest thing to a good ruler that has ever been offered to the Lands Between. His methods are the most reasonable compared to the wrath, hatred, prejudice, and blood lust of all other rulers. Including us, the tarnished, we are the bad guys in this war too, our path would destroy the Lands' only hope for lasting compassionate peace. Miquella's great rune charm is an overall positive power. The charm helps people let go of the evil within; if someone wanted revenge they can now settle for forgiveness, if someone was prejudice they can now tolerate others, and if someone had lust for blood shed they can now seek love. Miquella brought out the best version of each person, gave them love, and gave them hope. During our fight we had the power to resist Miquella's charm and so do many other characters like Messmer. There still is a choice to reject Miquella but 99% of people will be more attracted to what he offers than what they currently have, most people will agree with Miquella, because what he offers is valuable to them. Haters try to simply this process to simple brainwashing but it is not that crude nor sinister. Mohg wanted Miquella to bring the mother of blood dynasty, Miquella offered him something better. To assume that Mohg is innocent of kidnapping Miquella is a not necessarily. Two things can be true, at the same time, with these complex characters. Mohg was all about blood sacrifices so it's possible that he is ok with helping Miquella in this way, to be the vessel of Radahn's spirit, this is not a tragic end. Radahn was a proud and powerful warrior. By his standards he could not simply die, he had to die in glorious battle. Miquella tried to satisfy this honor by asking Malenia to go to war with Radahn, they were both too powerful for each other, so stalemate persisted until the tarnished rose. Miquella then sent Melina to persuade a tarnished to help in his plans. Most of the work had been done my Malenia and we come to finish off Radahn in honorable battle. Long ago Radahn promised to be lord and consort to Miquella. The reign of Miquella has all the good aspects of the Golden Order but with out the shunning of the graceless. Miquella extends grace and blessing to all in the Lands. Radahn would find it easy to support Miquella's Order because it is just a better version of the Golden Order. His loyalty would remain. consistent. Haters of Miquella will see these events in a sinister filter, this is unreasonable because there is a more honorable way to except what Miquella planned. Each one of these characters have good reasons to give Miquella a chance, the Charm helps but it's a positive help, not sinister. When Miquella divulged his love, it was specifically his love of self that died. He is still clearly able to love Radahn and showing compassion to an entire kingdom clearly communicates love. Saint Trina seeks to protect Miquella from the bondage of being a deity, that is self-love. Miquella had to let go of what was good for himself to obtain the power to serve everyone in his kingdom. Clearly he has sacrificed just as much as his flowers sacrificed to obtain compassion, leading by example.

When BanditGames was talking about how miquella was in the cocoon is because its just his hand, and the reason behind this is because when he appears during the second phase of Radahns boss fight sorta hugs him he has four arms but one is missing and that he left behind the missing arm to let the tarnished that has followed Miquella (also throughout exploring the land of shadows it mentions that he has left multiple pieces of himself). ALSO thanks for the much needed information this helped alto after beating the dlc and where the storyline was apart to it!

The cocooned Albinaurics in the Haligtree were undergoing metamorphosis alongside Miquella when his own cocoon was still inside the tree. When Mohg stole* him, the process of rebirth was stopped, essentially killing the Albinaurics.

Another reason for Radahn being a high candidate for consort is the fact that bro singlehandedly held back cosmic horrors. A very useful ability for an essentially apex being to have if your goal is a world of peace

Maybe it could be like bloodborne where you have to use 3 umbilicals.

I tried what you recommended to see if there were any different endings for being grabbed by Miquella then finishing the game. Unfortunately there weren't any additional options that aren't usually there and selecting the Mend the Elden Ring option that gives the default option gives the regular cutscenes.

Miquella uses Mohg to free himself from the tree and trina just starts a new one as soon as she is free of him.

8:38 This is probably not Godwyn but a youthful Radahn. He looks a bit more feminine since he is just a teenager here, as shown by Malenia still being a child. Some of the other statues show Miquella on his knees from the memory after his boss fight, and another one where Malenia is hugging him before she goes off to kill Radahn and kill herself in the process, indicated by the fact that she has no arm in it and she puts her arm on in the cutscene where she fights Radahn. Essentially, the statues tell us his story. Young Radahn shows kindness to weak little Miquella and his sick sister. Then, after the demigods learn that they have to become a lord or a god to survive, Miquella falls on his knees and begs Radahn to promise him to become his lord if they fulfill some kind of childhood vow they took when Radahn was nice to them. The last statue shows Malenia saying goodbye to Miquella, ensuring that Miquella will ascend to godhood.

Malenia might not have been chosen because she was also an Empyrean. Also suck it!!! To all the people claiming Malenia was a terrible sword for Michquella for and that she was trash at her job. Suck it!!! She was doing her damn job and did it pretty damn well to even if in the end she failed to kill Radahn.

When Miquella first kills you with that grab attack you load back into the grace site with a new emote unlocked called Let us go Together. I wonder if using this during the second phase of the fight or at the end of the game potentially does anything

Woulda been nice to have an actual conclusion and ending to the game though. Like give us the option to be a consort if we do certian things and prove ourselves stronger or whatever, or been able to finalize whatever order we chose in base game. What i wouldn't give to see our choices get an actual impaft on the ending of a game. At the very least change the tree color to whatever it was from the base game curscene thing. Woulda just added something to the game. Like you accomplished something and it shows. Besides a burning tree.
