max i a great triathlete, but from my point of view he has to prove it more than i just 1 simple race. afte the european open open he cancelled im hamburg because of an injury and after that i did not hear anything about him in the great races like challenge roth... but hope to see him in kona this year

Haha, at 1:07 he has the name of the bike brand "Giant" replaced with the Norwegian word, "Kjempe". I like that. Alt for Norge.

I know nothing about tiathlon. I only clicked on the video as a patriot. I had never heard about those guys. However, as a cross country and biathlon ski fan until recently, it was pretty obvious to me in the last race you showcased, that everybody would "blow their load" by going so hard too early. We've seen this in cross country skiing so many times, where someone who podiums 3rd or barely misses the podium, has something to prove and leads a race 80% of the way only to collapse and be overtaken by those who can pace themselves. I'm not sure what these Norwegian athletes are made of, it seems across many sports they can hold a crazy tempo for a whole endurance race, and a handful are even great sprinters, so in the cases where they're close to the finish line next to others, they always have a little explosiveness saved in the tank. It makes no sense that a peoples who historically and currently have been taller, larger, quite muscular, relative to most others, is so good at endurance racing. From my POV, looking around at my countrymen and women, I figure they would be great at 100-200 meter sprints, throwing events, things of explosive nature, and would fall 2nd to the central/east African peoples who are typically more suited for endurance. With Kristian getting a cramp in that last race, getting however many seconds standing still and dealing with those cramps, then coming back much stronger, really makes you wonder what kind of "secrets" we still don't know about our bodies.

Sadly, and i mean SADLY, the focus in Norway is so much on Jakob Ingebrigtsen and Karsten Warholm, which I got no problem understanding. But just as those two are world best, and Kasten has the World Record in the 400m hurdles. I think Christian Blummenfelt should get AS much publicity. I mean, he is not even on the posters. On the boards it's the Norwegian volleyball players Mol & Sørum (that also as bizarre won the gold last olympics in Tokyo), and then Jakob, Kartsen, and - it get's more insane - with now Casper Ruud and Viktor Hovland giving Norway even gold and medal chances in golf and Tennis. But why isn't Blummenfelt there? being what he is, in the sport he is doing it in, is AS incredible as the other sprots. AT LEAST AS incredible (i'm not gonna go into if it's more or not) but I mean... Give this man the respect, Norway!! And it's not just him, the whole team is LVL 100 = WORLD CLASS!! He should at least be on the billboard...

i just assume many professional endurance athletes, regarldess of discipline, are taking peds. theyre still freak athletes, theyre still extremely dedicated to their sport, i still couldnt do what they do even if i were on the same drugs, but it is a shame that pressure for results and money push people to do such a thing

Hey Jack I love your thing but please please please stop calling T100 and 70.3 distance racing long course racing 🤷🏻‍♂️ it’s middle distance always have been and always will be. Just saying ✌️
