Ah ok. I see where you went wrong. The custard needed more time to thicken even more. The consistency was too thin when you took it off the heat. Your heat might also be too low. Try bringing it to a steady but gentle simmer wherein little bubbles come to the surface and pop on medium to medium high heat. Keep whisking and cooking until it coats the back of a spoon and a distinct line drawn with your finger remains intact after dipping and lifting said spoon out of the cooked custard to test.

The recipe seems legit. Perhaps you're not cooking it long enough to thicken. It should be the consistency of mayonnaise before you take it off the heat.

well practically organic logo didnt mean they dont use chemical pesticides. fungus and bacterial problems we still can counter with organic fungicides. but insects....... not so easy to maintain if only use organic pesticide, the danger is insect can produce immunity toward insecticides including organic pesticides. so far only 2 solutions for pure organic farms. 1 steril growth area 2 nature barriers like farming in desert or dry climate and make farm land very dry in ground surface by useing underground jet irrigation system. no moist surface.
