How do you know if the d loop isn't to tight or not on the knock at draw? And i think youll find that no matter how well the arrow stays un the rest youll be holding it still with your finger lol. Its instinct

@@ML-ks2lj Whenever I tie in a D-loop, I make sure there is a tiny space below the bottom of the nock. I fold a business card in half and make sure that space is that thickness below the nock. This way is doesn't pinch too tight as you draw.

@@LanceHanlonOutdoors ok roughly an 1/8” I have been researching the pro shops job because they set my bow up funky and i knew it before I left watching them rush through it. I'm a do it myself guy any way so thank you for the info I'll be squaring and everything on my own.

Thank you! I have a 350 Rem Mag that I am handloading for. I didn't have brass, so I am making mine from 7mm Rem Mag brass. Working out just fine. I use W748 powder with 250 gr Speer bullets, and I am getting 2525 fps on the chronograph. Good consistent accuracy. My elk load this fall.

I used to shoot the sst in 270.they just blow up on impact and don’t penetrate well,i went to the copper gmx so they stay together and penetrate much better so you will have an exit hole. Nice buck!

Well done, regulating barrrels is one the hardest jobs in gunmaking, many guns are sold ex factory with poorly regulated barrels. Can shot gun barrels be regulated the same way? I have read the barrels need 2 wedges along the barrels to aid regulating, correct?

Thanks. I'm not sure if they use two wedges in shotguns or not. I know they hone the barrels after shooting at a pattern board and count how many hole inside a certain size circle. I suggest you should only attempt this on a low cost rifle like a Baikal, very easy to ruin a fine double rifle by tampering with the zero, which has usually been fixed by the makers before sale, and the sold gun will include a target showing the shot placement from the two barrels.

That's so cool! I'm impressed with that effect oon the left side, almost like the reflection you'd imagine seeing if it was rotating next to a star on the farther left of it. The colors were really nice too!

I actually once tried this with my cousin and it is just as easy as it looks like. We did it with 3 colors tho but i think they were still cool and we managed to sell some of those for money.
