I know people (including him indoors) who outright reject even making their own diets more plant based because of the overall attitude and pomposity of vegans. Such a shame.

I thought this video was about why carnivore is better and the fact that humans aren't meant or have ever lived on a plant based diet. Oh well, enjoy your farts and IBS guys.

Thanks for inspiring me to head to my local farmers market for a proper local baguette, so I could make this to share today. It paired well with a WFPB potato salad. It's called a "hoagie" where I originated.

You make me smile.....I wish I could chop like you do with my pathetic knives...and clean up as fast..but..after 30 years of being vegan for the animals I do my best. I will now try harder as your new pupil..... I've made a lot of mistakes in my life but putting the animals first wasn't one of them..... In return I achieved good health..a perfect weight...but a deep inner pain for the suffering of the animals...and a deep hatred of the majority of the human race..x

Hi Derek, 42 y/o lifelong 'carnivore', (as my parents always called me), here. Now, I'm not necessarily saying I'm going to do a sudden turn around or anything. But, this is only the second video of yours I've watched, and I'm already seeing some interesting things I'd like to try here. I've never had issues eating my veggies, never been a problem. But, you're making some really tasty looking stuff that I'm going to incorporate into my dining rotation. I'm not even sure how I came across your channel, but I'm glad I did! Thanks for this!

Psych and Nutrition student here, who was raised lacto/ovovegetarian. My professor just had us research Dr. Joel Fuhrman and his A.N.D.I., and his encouragement to go plant based. He runs a food rehab in San Diego, and when he was interviewed I was struck by his kindness. Particularly, he emphasized how we need to address the Psychological background and thought patterns using love and "creative goodwill." He brings the ego and externally generated self esteem and superiority issues that come with our relationship with food. Essentially, for it to stick, 1 month or more of plant based eating combined with exercise, positive social support and learning to silence the ego is a major part of success. Right afterwards your channel was suggested, and I'm delighted to find it. Liked, subscribed, looking forward to that ranch recipe!

Thank you for being open and understanding. I always thought it was an 'all or nothing' when it came to being vegan so I never gave it a proper go. I just want to try a little more each day to be more vegetarian/vegan and hopefully one day I will be able to keep it sustainable. 💖

Oh boohoo 79 degrees 😂 But living over there, guess it must feel like an oven! Here in Tennessee we’ve been nearly 90 and almost 90% humidity for most of June. 😥 Eating tons of fresh fruit, pasta salad and black beans with fresh corn over a bed of lettuce with guac. Am going to love adding this sandwich to our no-cook rotation!!

You are a very very honorable good soul in every way. The food was mind blowing and I had not idea all these combinations worked together lovely, healthy and your great efforts of 1900 meals. Yes peacefulness is a huge part of who I am and I cried of joy the feelings I could feel between you and your dog. I thank you for sharing all of this as it motivated, relaxed, gave me joy, peace and for sharing about your fiancé loss. Blessings

Is the vegan or the -ism the problem? Seems like all -isms are about rage, coercion and self-righteous judgement. In my judgement.😜

I’m definitely an imperfect vegan/plant based eater. My husband is a decided omnivore, so we have animal products in our house. We have meals that are completely free of all animal products that he loves but he’s just not at a place where he can give them all up. I feel that how we approach our meals works for us. While we will most likely never completely eliminate all animal products in this house, how we approach food overall has helped animals, the environment, and our health.
