We've been full time in Ennis for a little over 4 years, and were here 6 months out of the year for 4 years before that. Your video is very accurate and straight forward, and that's nice. Our market (Madison Foods) just underwent some major changes by building a much larger store and adding several new features, an that will be very nice for the town.

No thank you, that's CA or OR money, MT can keep it's cold and wind for that price😂 ya'll are nuts. You'd have better luck tearing down those expensive homes and start building big boxes for the huge influx of workers you're gonna need to keep all those rich people entertained and fed.

One thing not mentioned in the video is: real estate agents lying to buyers. I live on a small subdivision 10 miles outside town. We have an HOA that funds road maintenance. It does not do any snow removal. Yet we have seen many people buy properties who were told by their real estate agent that "HOA takes care of snow removal". They don't realize they need to either buy a snow plow for their truck, or become friends with someone who has one, or stay home until someone plows the road after a storm. I'd recommend buyers try to talk to their future neighbors to get the full story.
@lifeinbozemanmt

Oh goodness I’m so sorry you experienced that. It is so important - as an agent working with buyers especially - to have the right information. I investigate as much as I possibly can when representing folks, so that all the information is known and they don’t run into this type of thing. Thank you for highlighting this, and for watching!

Helena has the rudest people and worst drivers in Montana and I’ve lived in Billings, Missoula , Greatfalls and Lewistown(which is the second worst town I’ve lived in here. The drivers are mind boggling bad I’ve never lived somewhere where so many pedestrians and cyclists get smashed . They don’t stop for crosswalks lmao which is crazy , in Missoula you would think they get 500 bucks for every crosswalk they stop at . You can get from one end of town to the other in under 20 min yet people will be speeding darting in and out of traffic like their house is on fire. no blinker no muffler no problem. The funnest thing to do in Helena is to go out of town. Helena is a good place to get your dog attacked on a trail by another dog off its leash

The people that control this town have no vision of adding restaurants, clothes shopping , infrastructure, great outdoor stores like Cabela's , Scheels etc. . The surrounding area is all residential overbuilding in water depleted areas is a major problem. The lakes have horrible marina facilities and access . D of entire. Is pathetic . Did I say clothes stores are a joke . Property taxes very high . The cities worth living in have all high property taxes .

Well, you realtors are doing pretty well. If you want move to Bozeman, be ready for a shock. The politics in the state are not especially liberal. Housing is outrageously expensive. If you bring a camper to live in, be ready to move it off the street every 30 days -- the city ordinance wants to keep the side streets clean and clear of trash. This summer may be hot and dry. Winter may be cold and snowy. Food and gas is expensive. In other words, don't, I repeat, Do NOT expect to be happy here in Gallatin county if you are not filthy rich.

You can not have a fire because Montana doesn't trust you. Helena has Montana's largest cathedral, St. Helena. The first governor of MT was a member of the IRA and sentenced to death by the crown. He escaped and was a north gorilla soldier. Helena until recently had the most northern confederate monument. Irish catholic govenor and the 4 Georgians, and the governor allegedly drowned. Montana is not closed folks. No sales tax. Please come visit. Fly into south central (Billings), 2 hours from YNP, 140 to Bozeman, 240 to Helena, Great Falls and Butte and 340 to Missoula. I’m an MSU grad, and I can’t afford to live in Bozeman on my pension and Social Security. At one time the university was going to build apartments, and a few homes, for alumni and retired professors, but that fell away when the place began to grow so fast. As they used to say, and I still say it, “Don’t Californicate Montana!” and, “Don’t turn Bozeman into Bozangeles!” But it’s too late. The whole area is being ruined by overdevelopment and being made far left-wing by the wackos from California who are moving there with lots of money, and don’t want to live in California, but they bring their ultra-liberal values with them. So you can say that many of them are hypocrites.

Hallie - great job bringing value to your audience. Appreciate your efforts; not everyone is willing to go the extra mile. And, learned something new today: Graupel, also known as soft hail or snow pellets, forms when supercooled water droplets (water droplets below freezing but still in liquid form) freeze onto snowflakes, creating small balls of ice. Graupel is often mistaken for hail but is softer and less dense.
