Just a few observations. When using the zero turn, reduce extra work by always blowing to the inside. You will have less grass on the driveway and sidewalk. This reduces the blower time. I had a 21in push mower. Recently, I upgraded to a 30 in. Game changer. On the lawns where I pushed before, that time is cut by 70%. Between the 30" Exmark, 36" stander, and 60" zero. I can fit any size property. As far as weedeaters. You want as much power as you can carry. Keep it cutting

Customers with overgrown lawns know they created a mess and expect perfection in one cut. Like you said, it may take a couple of cuts to get them right. But, like you said. Clear and concise communication with the customer is key. Hydration is crucial this time of the season. Fluid intake the day before sets you on the right path. Just an observation. Whenever you prune shrubs, it’s a good idea to cut a little. Step back and look at the symmetry of the shrub. This prevents odd shapes and promotes symmetry. Bottom line is simple. If you want that pristine lawn, it takes work. They had a mess. Keep cutting brother!

Great services. I believe the homeowner could use weed killer in the front and back to help KEEP her lawn looking better longer. It's a fast service you could provide or a suggestion to the homeowner. Then, there's fertilizer. All great DIY or added lawn care services. Keep up the great work! Peace and Blessings

@tankslawnmaintenance5230
@tankslawnmaintenance5230 Ай бұрын
I just went full-time in March. When I was part-time, I refused to work on Sunday, but I was off on Fridays at my full-time job. I could manage 12 1/4 acre lots a day on my weekends in a 10 hr day, then 4 a day after work before dark during the week. So about 40/week while I was still part time. The only problem was I would have to call out sick from my full time job if I had a rain out. As a part time operator I think the best way to look at it is not how many yards I can do but how much money do I need to make before I can go full time. That really depends on the types of properties you are servicing and your market. Before hiring any help, you really need to make sure you have your ducks in a row. You need to make sure you have plenty in savings because if you get ripped off, you still have to pay your employees. You also need to have everything in place to pay payroll taxes. Getting to the point that you can go full-time should be first priority in your business unless you are just doing it to have a respectable side gig and stock pile money. You will never reach your full potential as a part time operator. What ever you decide to do, just remember to embrace the process and don't forget to enjoy each milestone. As an entrepreneur, growing your business is stressful, but it teaches you alot and shows you that you are capable of doing whatever you want to do. It's also very exciting. Your work speaks for itself brother.
