Hi Thaeyne! Can you please tell me the prompt and what all you used to get the image at 2:55 ? I would greatly appreciate it. Great video as always.
@HenryETaylor4 күн бұрын
Another Great Video. My favorite so far starts with a random image from --sref 130, upscaled then used as an image reference with an appropriate text prompt and an --sref 163. It is even better if you can work the word "fog" into the second generation image's text prompt.

I tend to like the styles with a dark and strange vibe or with strong colors. My favorites from this set: 105, 108, 120, 123, 136, 137, 144, 159, 165, 176, 192, 193, 199

Hi, do these replace previous styles such as bronze punk or britpop?
@thaeyneКүн бұрын
It depends. The default style is there anyway so if you use any words that impact the style without any style codes, those will be what you get. But when you combine previous styles with the style codes, you will get totally unexpected results that may or may not work. Consider them a totally separate style akin to the current default or raw styles. Except there is so many of them.

I love your videos, however these recent style reference ones are my least favorite. Simply typing in random SREF numbers don’t interest me. They don’t help me make better images, they are just pulling the lever on a slot machine. I can type in numbers myself. So different from your brilliant explorations of many different types of vocabulary.
@thaeyneКүн бұрын
Thank you. I guess these are more rushed than my previous videos. I do promise to get back to those soon or at least alternate these explorations. These past few weeks have been so busy for me personally that it was easier for me to explore the numbered styles.

I've got two Niji versions of the first 800 style codes. Like with tuners though just one context or a lack of context wont tell you everything about that style.
@thaeyneКүн бұрын
Yep, it's kind of an impossible task to map them all out and with context added as well. This kind of quick exploration I guess gives just a vague overview of the possibilities.

@thaeyne Hi, do you normally use the midjourney website or discord when you create images? Why do you prefer the one that you use? Just curious.
@thaeyne6 күн бұрын
I still prefer a private Discord server just because I am used to organizing my stuff there. Also it's easier to keep track of where I am. I have used the website as well when generating images for intros and outros, because for some reason it was easier for me to get used to some sticky settings on the website although the same options are available on Discord too. Website also requires one less upscale. Oh and one cannot easily save images as grids on the website, it's easier on Discord.

These are my two go-to srefs: 3447130595 (it does a pinkish/orange coloring and is perfect for landscapes...not retro) & 2527034822 (it has a glitchy, computerized game effect). I am using these with --s, --w parameters that you need to play around with. I also use aspect ratio 16:9 because I'm displaying my art on the Samsung 43" Frame tv. I love your channel Thaeyne. You give me some great ideas to try out. I also love your ai-generated voice...so soothing.

Why do you use seed number 777 in prompts?
@thaeyne5 күн бұрын
I just stuck with it. It's easier to compare things when the seed stays the same and only the prompt itself changes. And it's easier to share my results along with the seed number. It could have been any number out of 4 billion.

I use the default settings to not overcomplicate things. Stylize medium, if there is raw mode then I have included it in the prompt text on the screen. Relaxed mode, because I ran out of fast hours a while ago for this month. Variation at default.
