YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! I was floored by the level of engagement, the control of the class, the way you used the microphone for them to speak into, your level of knowledge. You were brilliant! Every teacher should be just as dedicated as you! Truly inspirational

Why do I feel the lesson is so boring in the beginning?

Maybe it's because my learning culture is different than in the US since I'm an Asian

Please, minimize your teacher talking time, and your students are kind of “passive”. I would start my lesson with a KWL chart, visual prop, a text, and definitely in-group conversations. Other than that, the resources are amazing. The structure of the lesson is wonderful and the learning environment is outstanding.

This is a lot of teacher talk and clearly a lack of student voice. The responding in unison speaks to training rather than teaching toward autonomy.
@melissam.66523 жыл бұрын
Students need to learn the academic language so that they can converse about the topics knowledgeably. If you listened to their discussions, you would’ve heard how they are taking what they learned in the lesson and framing their own thinking around that. Their responding in unison is helping cement those tricky academic vocabulary words and academic concepts in their brains so they can easily utilize them independently.

This is cultish and terrifying. I am glad I never had to go through anything like this before. The blind following of the students to the teachers sick desires is horrible.

That’s a very interesting reaction to an incredibly well organized and executed lesson 🤔.

As much as I admire how organized this teacher is, it is a little scary that everything is so perfectly conformist. Where is individuality? Personal expression? What if they don't like cookies and don't want to eat cookies?
@nicetightsize8jeans10 ай бұрын
are you kidding me? This is the best well behaved and most critically thinking class I have ever seen. This teacher is organized and needs an award. I dare you to teach in a really rough title I school then come back and tell me how you truly feel. Your comment is disgusting I hope you will never become a teacher. Stay away from children period.
