The Bo throw was the best ever. Terrible camera work, and worse announcing, but it was a missile that he grabbed barehanded, spun and threw in one motion.

What about Joe Ferguson running from right field to center field, catching a fly ball right in front of center-fielder Jimmy Wynn who had a sore throwing arm, and throwing out Sal Bando at home plate in the 1974 World Series? kzfaq.info/get/bejne/iMubeqlir5eze3U.htmlsi=yEQukvctEXUUQazA

If you want to rank these, Kerry Woods' game is easily #1. 20K's, 0 walks, 1 infield hit (that could have been ruled an error). Highest game score in history (105).

I saw the 69 Pirates play the Cubs in Chicago we were in the left field bleachers first row & Willie Stargell was in LF and Roberto Clemente in Right field & the Cubs were loaded too. We were kids & Stargell spoke to us between innings we were star struck

That was a triple play. As always umpires screwing it up.

DeWayne Wise's 9th-inning catch to rob a home run and preserve Mark Buerhle's perfect game. Jose Uribe's catch in the seats in the bottom of the 9th in game 4 of the 2005 World Series. (It's a better catch than the one by Jeter, who was in fair territory when he caught the ball.) Jim Edmonds' diving over-the-shoulder catch in deep center in 1977. Pete Rose's catch of a foul popup after the ball popped out of catcher Bob Boone's mitt in game 6 of the 1980 World Series. All of these were better than some on this list.

When I saw the topic for this video, I just knew I was going to see Tom Browning from the Cincinnati Reds pitch a perfect game…..! You’ve gotta be kidding me!!!!😏 Stupid of me to think that…..Duh🙄!!! Who cares about the Cincinnati Red🤷🏽♂️ I mean they’re small market team who’s only won 5 World Series…..So🖕🏽U too whoever left Tom Browning off the list!!

Ankiel was such a beast out there. I dont think I've ever seen an arm in the outfield like that. That pitching arm was great but changing him to the outfield was genius.

Around Atlanta, no 'Top Catches' list is complete with Otis Nixon's 'The Catch.' That's all it's called... 'The Catch.' kzfaq.info/get/bejne/r7eJeJSB0L7NcqM.htmlsi=DkgsMN-mWIA0vc6W

Nixon had several amazing catches. Edmonds had several better than this one.Bo Jackson run up the wall was amazing.BUT THE GREATEST CATCH OF ALL TIME is a Minor League player catching a ball in Right Field and running through the wall.Have you ever seen it?

I saw Roberto in person from right on the field--girlfriend's uncle was Forbes field usher. One day I was out early and with only a coach or two there Roberto was working on caroms from the fence. Occasionally making a few throws. At his HOME park. As a nine year old also saw a similar work ethic from Willie Mays(Polo Grounds). Men like this don't just rely on their natural talents.

Try to dig up archived footage of Sammy Sosa in 1991 at Yankee Stadium.He almost threw out someone from the warning tracks in right field, the ball landed 1 foot away from home plate with one throw and no cutoff.Sosa had a howitzer before steroids.

There’s a Tori Hunter catch that’s missing from this list. Kirby Pucket’s catch in the World Series! Definitely a few more Jim Edmonds catches missing as well.
@Nhamp20009 күн бұрын
I think the Hunter catch you mentioned is the one where he robbed Bonds at the ASG? Puckett's catch should definitely be on here. Also the White Sox player who robbed a guy of a home run, bobbling the ball as he fell back to the track but held on to preserve Mark Buehrle's perfect game. You could have a list of 10 catches by Edmonds alone that would be better than this. The only ones I think everyone would agree on (as far as being in the list. rank is subjective) are Matthews and Mays.
