I have a question how do The gerbils get over the divisor like is there a hole that they can go through or do they just like climb over it? I need to know some of this information because I’m getting one soon!

@ellen45862 жыл бұрын
This cage would better fit a hamster, it’s to much stuff everywhere for tunnels and gerbils should not have a wheel, it can damage their spine.
@taylorsouthall7392 жыл бұрын
Wheels can damage gerbil spines if they aren't large enough however this wheel is perfect for a gerbil this size.

Beautiful cage! One tip though... try not to put much wood in your cages. Yes it’s really fun for them to chew on but the wood will soak up a bunch of pee and poo. You wood may eventually begin to get stinky. Ceramic is a good replacement or you could use plexiglass to separate your different sections. Just a friendly tip 🤗
@burntbeansoup5 ай бұрын
Wood is great, that's all bullshit. When it gets soaked in pee clean it and if that doesn't work then replace it. Wood is great

I've also heard that. I would go on the safe side and avoid it just in case. I use a mixture of kaytee aspen shavings and carefresh paper bedding and the gerbil tunnels hold really well.

How did you get your boy guinea pigs to get along being it’s so many of them. I have 3 boars they get along great but recently 2 more guineas was dropped off to my house. I really don’t want to mess up the trio but we only have one cage. I don’t want anyone to get hurt

Hi I have 2 pairs of boars and have never been able to bond more than that, they use to be a herd of 4 but then started fighting so had to split them in to twos. My herd of 17 is all girls. X

Oh No! Poor George. 😔 I’m Sorry For Your Loss. I know how hard it is. We tried to rescue a beautiful young bird, and on the fourth day, he/she passed away. I cried so hard, even my dog sensed my sadness and was very sad too, he whined and his eyes were full of sadness, he understood. Also I Recommend You Feed The Rabbits Veggies. If You Ask Google What Vegetables Can Rabbits Eat?, A List Of Vegetables Comes Up. Water bottles aren’t as good as ceramic bowls, so I’m glad to see you use them, and I would convert completely to bowls of possible. Hope This Helps.

I’d advise against the Snowflake bedding: it uses softwood and this can cause respiratory distress and infection. If you want to use wood, aspen is a good and safe alternative.
