I absolutely love this cage! But my gerbils would bury all of this in 0.23 seconds 😭

Beautiful cage! One tip though... try not to put much wood in your cages. Yes it’s really fun for them to chew on but the wood will soak up a bunch of pee and poo. You wood may eventually begin to get stinky. Ceramic is a good replacement or you could use plexiglass to separate your different sections.

i really want to get an ikea detolf for my gerbils too, but my parents won’t be convinced for the time being haha. my mum says if we can find one second hand we can definitely get it! their current cage is alright, but it doesn’t have enough room for toys, and i think they should have more floorspace.
