"சபாபதி" திரைக்கதை மிக மெலிதான கண்ணாடி போன்றது என்றாலும், அதை உடையாமல் படமாக்கிய நேர்த்தி வியப்புக்குரியது. வேலையாள் வாங்கி வந்த அல்வாவை முதலாளி ஒளித்து வைத்து விட்டு தூக்கு மாட்டிக் கொள்ளும்போது வேலையாள் கேட்பார்: "போறது தான் போற. போறதுக்குள்ள அல்வா இருக்கற இடத்தை எனக்கு சொல்லிட்டு போ". Classic. பதிவில் வந்த பகுதி boundary என்றால் இது sixer.

சுவையான தகவல்கள் நிறைய சொல்கிறீர்கள். நான் படித்த அத்தகைய ஒரு தகவல்: 1940-களில் studio-களின் மரங்கள் நிறைந்த இடங்களில் படப்பிடிப்பு நடத்தி ஒலிப்பதிவு செய்யும்போது காக்கைகளின் ஓசை அதிகமாக இருந்ததால், அவற்றை விரட்டுவதற்காகவே சிலர் இருந்தார்கள். படத்தின் டைட்டிலில் கூட அவர்கள் crow chasers என பெயருடன் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டார்கள்.
