My good buddy has the claim to tip top mine. We rode dirt bikes up bear creek and up to the mine. I want to come back and visit the lakes. What a place man!! I want to do Little Water Gultch at the end of bear creek. I understand theres a working hard rock mine there and an old stamp mill. Love to take a tour of that. Appreciate this series boys!! Hope all is well!

0:49 No it isn't. How does it remind them of the "old west" if no one here today was alive during that time? And no gunfighter in the 1800`s whether a criminal or a lawman who wanted to actually LIVE and not have his opponent send a bullet through their lungs, would waste time doing this. They would draw and fire. This is pointless nonsense that had NO legitimate purpose outside of a stupid rodeo show with people being clowinsh.

How do you stop chain fire ?
@rhinestoneropers92047 күн бұрын
Drop your gun and step back. They don't explode they just fizzle. In my show, I don't need the gun fully loaded, so that helps. I've only had it happen when shooting upward. But I've seen it happen to others.

Why are blanks dangerous trying this awesomeness?
@rhinestoneropers92047 күн бұрын
I don't have a specific reason, but we have to treat all firearms with respect as if there is an element of danger. But , if you are spin cocking a rifle that has the fanning screw while loaded with blanks, the rifle will fire much sooner than you intend it to.

Hi Dan . I really lkke the west anx spinning guns . I reallyike your holsters and wo der were you got them and are the custom made ? I live i canada and guns are restri ted and use replicas and rigs are hard to find . To order from USA is expensive by the time you pay exchange and duties and shipping it doubles the price. Any help or advice would be appreciated .

I had them custom made after I won the gun spinning world championship. Dusty Johnson at Pleasant Valley Saddlery made it.

@rhinestoneropers9204Ай бұрын
The best way for me to help is for you to video a typical attempt and email or text it to me. Just a few seconds long will work. Then I can look at it and maybe even slow it down to see what is happening. [email protected] 208-320-3633

How does the gun not go off?
@rhinestoneropers92042 ай бұрын
Good question. First, these pistols are single action. That means you have to manually cock the hammer back to rotate the cylinder, then pull the trigger to fire it. So, you can pull the trigger and the gun will not fire unless it is cocked. Second, I never spin a loaded gun.
@dtnetlurker2 ай бұрын
I wouldn't do this all that much. It was a trick for the movies and TV. It's actually one of the worst things for your rifle. It can easily ruin the action. The movie studios didn't have to worry because they always had at least one extra ready. Looks cool though.
