You are looking so dapper!!!! I saw a lot of cool records - prob way overpriced. Those movie discs were cool. Were they 2 for $40? Waaaaay too much. I want Places in the Heart - loooove that movie. The 45s were taken care of, at least. You need the neck holder for filming to free both hands. They are cheap. Oh, I saw both your hands…

GPS used to be hopeless here. I would warn people, but did they listen?! I would see dust rising from a dirt road across the valley from me and know it was the person that was supposed to be coming here. They would be 10 miles away.

Actually those places looks similar than here... So there as Taliban ruled area in US with no music? Do you really drive those places just for records or do you other business there? I visit yeasterday in Iisalmi (120 km from our cabin), but I had to visit in hardware store... also did visit 5 fleamarkets...buying only one album. Wasn't sealed.

RCA movie discs suits well for audiophiles. Only saw once those discs here in 90s. Samatha fox 7" ❤. I am in cabin and nearest revord shop is 100 km away... Just missed schlager vinyl from your video crates.

I was playing 45s yesterday and checking values on discogs. If you ever see The Chantels "Indian Giver" on Verve grab it. I about went into shock when I saw that it had sold for $599 and my copy is in VG+ condition. I doubt if I paid more than $5 for it. I didn't even remember it. Fine soul.

I just don’t like the songs/songwriting after Life’s Rich Pageant as much. Stipe’s throaty crooning is better in the background as well. There are a handful of tunes from every release I like, but nothing from start to finish like those first 4 releases.

For some reason i slept on Paul's Boutique in '89. I was listening to Siouxsie and the Banshees "Peep Show", The Traveling Wilburys and Edie Brickell all from '88. It was just recently (7 - 8 years ago) that i got into BAD when i found "Tighten Up vol. 88". I cant wait to discover more of their music!

I was the same way with Lou Reed . I did not hear him until he did Satelite of Love with U2 on the Actung Baby Tour....I find it sad that when we reflect on 1989 great bands like you show come to mind but this is what actually was selling and overplayed on the radio. 1. 2 to 5 minutes music. So this must apply to eating also. Most 60s 70s singles didn't have picture covers. You are obviously a kiss fan buy the lp mug doll etc and never play th elp as the music is crap. If you could read you would notice it is called the vinyl community not the album community. We will stick to singles you buy your lps where most of the tracks are filler.

I'd be curious if tbat Decca 45 plays well. In my experience a lot of those old big hole 45s look trashed, but play clean. If not try the Japanese Nagoaka 110 mp cart and stylus. Worth its weight in gold IMO

Seeing that 94 cents price tag reminded me of an ad I saw in Goldmine years ago from a man who had once had a rekkid store and had put everything in storage for decades. He mailed me this massive list and every rekkid was at it's original sticker price! I bought $50 rekkids for $2.98. I loaded up on 70s singles and some 12" albums etc.. Quite the steal.

I have Rockwell's Cobra maxi single. Did see that Eurythmics 7" on Stockholm sunday. Did't pick it, instead another 7" from then... If interested there are a lot of crate digging material ( 7" singles with picture sleeges) in my video that is open later today... You can watch Finnish or English version! Or both!

In Kentucky, do you find records at antique stores to be way overpriced? Also do you see insane price logic for instance Brother In Arms in VG+ for twenty and in the same crate Barry Manilow Live for 18? BTW...I am convinced that antique stores think that when the vinyl bubble bursts Barry Manilow Live will be on the top of the heap.
