Dude, you're over-thinking the unloading. Do what I do: Get a couple of 2x6(or 8...etc.) planks and use 'em as a ramp at the rear of the truck. Slide the mower back and onto the planks, and once you to the tipping point it'll just slide down. (Loading can be done in a similar manner if you have something towards the front of the truck to secure a ratchet strap to- just winch 'er up with the ratchet strap.) -Former city boy who figured this stuff out quickly

As well as checking historic photos...check with the US. Geological Survey and see if there are any old topographical maps of the area. Typically, the topo maps show not only current buildings but also older ones as well.

An over-running clutch built into your pto adapter is useful when using a shredder. When you step on the clutch without one the spinning blade will push the tractor until the blade stops. My boss bought a 8n with a shredder. He had no experience with tractors. He was cutting his chain link fenced area, turned too late, got jammed in a rt angle corner. We had to use our wrecker to drag him out of the corner. He ruined the fences where the frt end and the shredder hit it. On a straight section going full tilt, finish mower engaged, step on your clutch and see how long it takes you to come to stop rolling. Decide if you might need a ORC. Note Inexperienced drivers need to be aware when emergency stops may be needed. Always enjoy your videos. Take care sir. Note2 ORC adapter will add weight and may cause pto seal to start leaking. Years ago there was a sleeve that could be bought that fit the small shaft and was the large dia. on the outside. That sleeve added minor amt of wt.

Awesome video, and would love to see a part 2 of that venture. Was it an old bus or an old camper. Very Interesting. Love in Cape Cod, Ma. But wish more than anything to be walking through the woods of that there property. I guess you could say I'm just an outdoorsman. That's some beautiful country.
