Good job by rescuers -see the benefit of red/yellow and better quality life jacket , kayak seemed to have no internal buoyancy aids

no problem, a bit of excitement when it's rough, but these guys know how to handle their boats. :)

No idea about kayak, or swimming neither. Luckily the rescue guys really knew what their doing. Fantastic job. Some criticized who criticized the rookie kayaker, but it is important to point out what is wrong, so people can learn with someone else mistakes. His paddle wasn't leashed, so he was done when it was lost. And then he panicked and sink his kayak trying to use it as a floating board.... Great thing he survived to, hopefully, has learnt a lot from that.

Stupid stupid man indeed…he not only riskedhis life but he could’ve taken those other three men down too. I hope he has learnt his listen. I’m sure he wouldn’t of been a local.

His PFD was totally insufficient for the amount of water logged clothing he was wearing, if it's so cold out that the amount of clothing you need to stay warm is more than your PFD can deal with in the conditions then the conditions aren't suitable for going out, end of story. Instead of all that clothing he should of just been wearing a good quality cold water wetsuit and a PFD, then he would have been totally ok in the water he wouldn't have been able to go under even if he actually wanted to.

Hiya just had a grey warbler fly into our lounge. It's got most of its tail feathers missing. It's got water, crushed wheat and a hay nest. In a budgy cage. Can you suggest what else it will need? Thank you

He can actually stay between the two waves but seems he is using the waves to push him forward to save gas 😄. Very clever 👍
