@jeepdad1954 depending how the car is driven, but both cvt n gasket is in alot of stress if the car is driven hard in track. But generally street use I think it will last much longer

@@thtan777 Is the output data from the engine? or the wheels? (power/torque). Cause the problem with cvt is that they dont have a fixed ratio in the gears since they have an infinite number of ratio.

The power on the wheels. For the honda fe we can hold it on 4th gear consistently to compare data's though technically it's a virtual 4th gear but its consistently the same 4th if that make senses.

Cars been daily driven ever it was tune as well as plenty more FE that we had tune recently. Even older FC we done plenty of 220whp. Even we tune the car really well, owner has to do their part to maintain it well.

Not really. We have plenty of turbo upgrade cvt fc all doing fine. It really depends how cars are tuned and how the owner maintenance it.

@@thtan777 interesting. I bought a Hondata for my 2016 Civic 1.5T CVT but haven't flashed it yet. Bolt-ons wise, I was figuring on adding the following: PRL Cobra CAI, RV6 fp/dp combo (catted), PRL intercooler. We have strict emissions laws where I live in the States so need to go catted. Not sure how much HP I'll wind up gaining from all that but it has to be better than the stock 174HP ... Quick question, after the car is flashed can you leave it flashed for good or would it put too much stress on the engine? Thanks!

@@topjimmy72 I won't know what the numbers on your side as dyno varies with cars n conditions. Assuming all parts installed properly n tune properly of course it will be higher than stock

engine can do 350+ the cvt can only handle around 260tq so limit tq
