I remember seeing those buildable fire vs ice figures in a LEGO magazine then wondered why they weren't in stores.. only to realize years later they weren't available in North America. Which is a shame cuz I *really* wanted them.

When I was a kid I wanted these sets and the Pharos Quest sets so badly. But my mom liked Harry Potter so that's what I got instead. I got one little mini pack of these guys once and they were my favorite.

I like how you had two similar looking space craft in both Futuron and Blacktron II, though they functioned a little differently. Definitely gave the vibe of Corporate espionage to Blacktron II. And, what's REALLY interesting to me is that when they released a mini figure collection with Both M-Tron and Blacktron, they included figures from BOTH Blacktron themes, as well as a lone Space Police 1st Gen in the group. It makes me theorize that you were getting to see the two faces of Blacktron. One was their covert ops arm with the TriForce symbol and in all black, and the other was the Public Face of Blacktron, offering their services to anyone willing to pay. This would include good manufactured from stolen designs.

Where is Blacktron in Space Police III? One of the squid faced Aliens - the green one, I think - has a Blacktron logo on his black suit. Think it's the Green B. Will have to look.

I just broke out and cleaned up my old Galactic Peace Keeper ship today. One of the best presents I got from my Grandma back in that era of toys. As for Blacktron II Mocks - I used to have that Futuron Pod robot thing: Cosmic Pursuer, I think it's called. With some bits from the different Marvel battle suits, and that Creator Shuttle 3-in-1 set, I was able to remake most of it in a sleeker, more functional form. Now I just need a classic dome for it. I actually want a Neon Trans Green one so that I can have a Blacktron II 'copy cat' to play around in for some of the spares I picked up, like that new MiniFigure from the 2024 collection. Even tempted to do one in Red for M-Tron.

If I could do one thing as a lego manager it would be one more year of HF. You asked what could purpose would fighting villains with those giant mech suits serve. Here's my answer: give. bad guys. MECHS. Imagine Core Hunter in a Vahki-like mech, or maybe make vehicles with Technic parts, whole bases even.

I grew up when the final ‘true’ castle wave was released around 2013, and since then I have witnessed a strange shift in vibes from Lego. City is going strong, with all its sub themes, a few side themes like Nexo knights or hidden side, but other than that it’s all Star Wars, Minecraft,and ninjago.

I just love the mech designs. Show whatever reason it reminds me of some murky memory I had of a McDonald's toy I had when I was 3

Wow... so sad I missed Mixels. It was during the "I'm too grown up for Lego" phase. I had XPods though and I really liked it.

It's 4 years later and Ninjago is still doing everything. I.. uh.. don't care for it. Couldn't get into it even if it has cool builds. Creativity piggybacks off of themes like City (Space, Adventurers with Johnny Thunder and the others and now an Exo Force commemoration theme). I feel like the fanbase could scream for creativity in new themes but the company won't budge. At least we're getting what we're getting, haha. Dreamzz is... interesting, I didn't think it would pan out. Not for me but respectable, even though the show isn't very good.

bit of a crazy thought that could be done using resent 2023/2024 Ninjago Ninjas, using a number of extras to build a old school Ninja theme. With the 2023 polybags 30650 Kai and Raptons temple battle, pick up a number of those and you could have a Red Ninja group, adding set 71777 Kai's Dragon Power Spinjitzu Flip as the Ninja leader. Lloyd's Dragon Power Spinjitzu Spin set 71779 leading group of Green or mix of extra ninjas as a rouge group, something of a idea to have fun using any extra minifigs in.

Really like Planet Ripple, I'm a comic artist myself and appreciate seeing other artists breaking down their work. Also love the LEGO content. 🙂

Binged the entire series in a month and loved it love these videos to!

I've been really liking these chapter breakdown videos, they're sort of like watching the director's commentary for a movie. I think it was the first couple of these that convinced me to get into the series about a year ago.

Dude its your channel you can do what you want, make the videos you wanna make, i didnt just subscribe because of my love of lego but because i like your personality, humor, style etc. Its that youve attracted most of your subscribers with lego content and shifting focus to planet ripple will come with issues as you need time to attract people who are interested in planet ripple. The issues youve had with views are just growing pains of making new content.

We actually refer if you cover more of your world. We don't mind being maybe a month or a few weeks behind the patrons. We just want you to continue this

I'm so glade to have found this channel always's loved your lego videos. But Planet Ripple has become one of my all time favorite graphic novels so looking forward to what you've got next.

I really like the name and to me it would feel weird if you changed it. You made a following, and to me, you'll always be known as the creator of Lego rewind. I love everything you put out thou. Also have you considered making another channel, like transferring your lego videos and keeping this one for planet ripple?

Covering more Planet Ripple? Of course, It’s the name of your channel. If the algorithm has problems with it, well then the algorithm can learn to get over it. It might take time of course (they don’t exactly think creatively) but in the end, a program doesn’t dictate your creativity. Although one caveat I would like to propose: Covering more volume chapters might end up being a double edged sword. On one hand: It’s great hearing your commentary on your writing. It’s always great hearing the thought process of artists when they discuss their work. On the other hand: (I’ll use myself as an example) I actually went and bought vol 1&2 because of that dry spell after you covered chapter 5. And then I bought & binged vol 3-8 in a span of about 2 months. It was the eagerness to know what happened after the chapter 5 log that hooked me. You might want to let the vol 1 logs be the hook for everyone else to pick up the books for themselves. The story is certainly too good to be spoiled early in the chapter logs. Some good alternatives might be individual character analysis videos, more lore discussion videos, or videos about your technique in your artwork. Just some food for thought, Keep up the good work👍🏻

I think it may be better for growth, the people who still stick around, and most importantly you, if you toned down the LEGO videos and ramped up the Planet ripple coverage a bit, but most importantly do what you feel like at a given time on the individual video level

Your channels called planet ripple for a reason, to show everyone this great series of yours plus your ripple videos have a beautiful quality to them as well
