Very inspirational! Its our own mistakes! We must take time for ourselves, make no excuses, be fed up with pain! Choose! Choose yourself over the carbs and sugar!

Very familiar with Friendship Bread. Made it when I was a young woman. To change it up I would fold in various fruits that were in season into the batter.

My mother used to make a homemade chunky apple sauce spice bundt cake that she added dates and walnuts into it. Once it cooled overnight in fridge (my favorite was waiting till everyone was asleep and lift the cold cake up and scrape the bottom of the ring to eat with cold glass of goat's milk) she would make a thin cream cheese and powder sugar topping drizzled all over top/sides. I once asked where she got the recipe, and it was my Great grandmother's and every fall after they harvested all the apples in the orchard, they'd bake this cake. I don't have the recipe box and can't find a cake recipe close to it, maybe yours. It's a very dense, spice flavorful cake with chunks of ingredients to bite into. Another family recipe was a simple carob chip and marshmallow sheet cake with a carob gauche frosting that is similar to a Mississippi mud cake or brownie. No nuts. But was very easy to make and can't find anything close to how simple making this carob/tiny marshmallow (rocky road brownie? frosted sheet cake.

Before your video, I watched 4 other videos, and in everyone, they just took the butter straight from the fridge to bowl. Not a single one thought to use softened butter. I was like, why? And man, they struggled.
