Can I use this to hardwire 2 wifi mesh points that are really far from each other?
@Alexwarestudios3 күн бұрын
These MOCA are basically Ethernet adapters so as long as your mesh supports a hardwired mode you could plug an AP into the main router just fine. (Which is actually what I use mine for)

Neat design. While the # of 1 star reviews are only 2% of the reviews, the reasons for 1 star are troubling. This is electricity, and those reviews are scary. I love the individual on/off switches.

Unfortunately just about every product these days will have at least a couple defects but some more than others. I've bought quite a few of this brand of power strips and they seem to be really well built and I regularly push around 13 amps through it during the summer so that's why I made the review.

I tried a couple yes I'm on the second floor so the included dipole work pretty decent for line of sight communication. And the speaker wire works great for HF

Are you mental blowing out a computer like that indoors! I blow out computers all the time with a real compressor and I find its best to remove components like the gpu and psu to rebuild, use a cheap laminating brush on all the accessible areas before vacuuming the bulk then using compressed air.

you might get better results if you cut the wire to be resonant in the band you want to listen to, get it off the ground, and ground the shield to a ground rod.

Actually I recently tried this grounding the SDR didn't result in any changes but when I grounded the negative side of the antenna I got quite a big bump in signal strength

I have the same fan and the same issue. Take the blade off get a flat head screw driver heat up the tip on the stove get the flat head blade hot and melt the plastic cracks keep it hot and remake the flat key part and make it a little bigger than the key part or about the same size that worked for me also get some super glue guerrilla glue get it down in the blade mix it around with a tooth pick let it dry do it again same thing let it dry and remove any excess do this before remelting the plastic and the remelt the key with the flathead screw driver
@Alexwarestudios6 ай бұрын
Thanks for the tip It seems like they completely forgot about the key on one other nicer fans

So it worked for a few hours and it wallowed out again so I re melted the plastic key and drove a screw from the center tip between the flat surface of the shaft and blade left it on over night. Switching settings there is a sound of and turning it off there is a sound definitely the screw which is just a half inch screw I may attempt different methods
@Alexwarestudios6 ай бұрын
@@metalmindedmaniac2587 The screw method seems to be the most popular but I had to resort the glue because the plastic cracked on the fan blade But it only worked for one day. but replacing it fix the problem permanently because it came with the keyed slot
