Quick edit: not sure what youre talking about with the customs on the R34. There are agencies on both coasts that will import them to the states, legally.

Its not illegal to drive those cars in America, Canadians and Mexican imports can legally drive on the roads. they just cant be USA registered until the 25 year bans are lifted. A few of these cars can also be brought in from anywhere in the world on travel permits for tours and road trips.... Illegal to drive is strong words for a title dude...
