Hello, excellent video. I have a large farm and sometimes there are foxes who destroy all the crops and often eat the poultry. So, I sought the assistance of my farmer friend who suggested that I use the Huntattract fox attractant product from the FERBER brand. This is a unique product that guarantees complete success. What is your perspective on this? I ask you, please.

So this was a quick view of starting up my ham radio and laptop. With the startup complete a station in Arizona was sending a calling any station, ie CQ. I responded with a signal report. The station in Arizona replied with a signal report, then the RR73 and 73 to verify reception of the signal report and conclusion of the contact. FT8 is the mode of transmission. It is a digital mode similar to the old telephone modems you might use on your computer in the early days of internet dialup connections. The protocol is brief so it only lasts a few moments to exchange basic contact information.

Nature is beautiful, isn't?! It's so much better to get put down fast and get slaughtered than being killed that way. Minks and weasels are very vicious, they have no mercy of course. So sorry for the baby chicks. Poultry need a 100% safe coop for the night, that's not hard to build or buy, you need some investment and engagement. For the ignorant city people who say and think that it's better to get killed by a fox or a mink than get slaughtered: woul you peacefully euthanize your cat or let it brutally killed by a wild animal?

WOW! So great to see all 3 of you. What an incredible tour. Amazed by all the things that you've accomplished even with your own knee surgeries. Everything looks so different now that you removed all those trees at the right. I remember driving in and parking and there was nothing but trees and now you've built that lovely outdoor kitchen area. Loved seeing how much you've added. The trees, the garden looks amazing and especially the ducks. We have had 8 ducks for about 2 years now and we love them. We went with your original insight and decided to use the doll house/fort by building a run onto it and closing off the windows with hardware wire. We have 2 Jumbo Pekins, 1 Rouen, 2 Indian Runners, 1 Welsh Harlequin, 1 Khaki Campbell, and 1 White Layer. I also loved seeing your beautiful geese. I am still trying to decide if I want to get a guard goose to better watch over the ducks. So glad Kris is out and about. Such a devastating illness for sure. I don't remember the exact time frame but I always thought it was odd that both Kris and I had something similar around the same time frame. I was very sick for months and literally went to the ER 4X only to be constantly sent away. In fact, once they decided I needed my gallbladder out so after doing that I was still no better off. Finally, after the gallbladder doctor saw I was no better he sent me to a Neurologist who IMMEDIATELY by looking at XRays realized that I had some kind of infection hidden behind my spine. I went through the most horrendous surgery of my life losing a portion of my spine and they had to recreate something to replace that section for me at UAMS in Little Rock and it took me about a year to heal to where I felt human again. I'm so sorry to see that Kris is still not up walking but blessed to see she is feeling better and getting out and about in that fabulous chair. We sure miss visiting as we used to. The egg parties were so fun... lol Leisa and I are still in touch even though she moved away. Please tell Kris hello for me and I'll keep an eye on your pods Sheryl York/ Duckshorts

Yes indeed. Hard to find a really good rooster. It was indeed dark in the coop. The flock now has a red light to help them see in the dark. The geese tried to protect the flock. I was surprised the geese were so quiet. Generally they are noisy. I've added guinea fowl. They are quite good at making a loud alarm even in the dark.

Chickens are almost totally blind in the dark. The rooster definitely looks like he could kick the minks ass in a fair fight with some light, but he couldnt see where it was. I don;t know about the geese. I always thought they would sound the alarm.

@@MrRicomex I too was surprised the geese did not sound an alarm. Daylight hours they surely do. Since then I've added some red light to help them see at night. Added some guinea fowl as well. They do indeed make a lot of noise at night if something isn't normal. Upgrades to coop security has put a stop to any predator issues in the coop.
