Somewhat historically downfall? Lmfao it’s the biggest downfall in TV history and yes go woke go broke more worried about strong woman and checking off every checkbox they could imagine and hiring a bunch of lefty idiots that can’t write a story to save their lives. Season 2 was great I mean they cut the budget and sacked the director, what’s people want. Sorry the show was not fixed it was simply unfixable y’all where just so desperate for anything it seemed good when in reality it was simply slightly better than it was before that’s simply not enough and on out a fan boy would say it recovered, watching season 9 means you weren’t one of those people. Michonne is such an annoying character and the actress is so overhyped just constantly looks like a pissed 13 year old boy with a grown like whatever.

This was why I thought Barney was perfect for Robin. He was not a traditional man. Didn’t care about having kids or having a family. I didn’t understand why he wouldn’t be okay with Robin traveling. Him and Robin would have so much fun and they would be that fun couple that don’t have kids and just travel all the time. Their story was so good until they got a divorce😢 The ending made sense on paper, that’s why Ted was telling the kids the story. It was about Robin. But that just doesn’t work, if he still had feelings for Robin this whole time, then it would be a slap in the face for Tracy, and all the fans.

NO BECAUSE THATS SO TRUE, WHO TF EVEN IS ELLIOT. He has such an interesting dynamic with his mom who seems to be aware of his lifestyle and is content with it, and he also seems to be this person who has no other friends, or at least close ones. These things could be interesting BUT HE LITERALLY IS JUST THERE TO DO DRUGS WITH RUE AND KISS JULES, AND THEN SING THAT STUPID FUCKING SONG 💀 I know not everyone liked the flashbacks, but we got one for Cal and Fez, why couldn’t Elliot have gotten one?? Even if we didn’t, why couldn’t we have gotten something. I’m just so fucking confused because there’s literally nothing to say about such a nothing character.

I personally thought season 2 was more of a love fantasy, or any fantasy. It had many moments that were a bit too much of a stretch. I can understand from Phoebe’s perspective why she would write a season like that. But i think the first was a magnificent watch, it had top notch writing in all perspectives. Maybe because not many yes sirs or ma’ams were present on the first one. The second was again, more like a fantasy, the better men for the main girls had no shortcomings of their own, were just plain perfect beautiful men for those women, this is just an example but allover some of the writing and scenarios were iffy too. Except only the first episode, 2nd season was a big disappointment.

Like everyone I dont like the end very much but recently i saw the series again and I wanted to know what the actors thought and josh radnor said he liked better the complete version of the finale without the editing and yeah you can find a few cut scenes there, what really gave me a better sensation for the finale was the table read of it where you could see the raw version that although is not perfect is way better than the one we got in the end, so if you wanna see it, its on yt and I can say that it defienetly gives you a better feeling that the tv finale

maybe this will help you hate the ending a bit less- Tracy was a true love for Ted, but not his Lebenslangerschicksalsschatz, and Ted wasn't Tracy's. Tracy ended up with Max, and Ted ended up with Robin. their Lebenslangerschicksalsschatz.

I feel like it doesn't really matter how good or bad this show was because it was always going to be hallow. Carl was always Rick's motivation, and was the moral and thematic foundation of the narrative, and now that Carl is dead, the narrative is broken, the themes are destroyed, and nothing matters. Thus this show was and always will be a pointless pursuit. That said, there is a tiny part of me that's so desperate to feel any sort of positive emotions from this franchise, that I would've welcomed a world where they embraced the fact that nothing matters anymore in a more positive way. Nothing holds any weight or has any meaning anymore so why not just have fun? Do the scifi action B-movie shit this show is flirting with, but with commitment. Rick is immune to poison gas, he and Michonne avoid a genocide-level bomb by hiding under a tarp, love saves the day, okay sure!! Let's have fun with it!! Hell, do some Kingsman 2 shit and resurrect Carl! FUCK IT!! NOTHING MATTERS!! And yes, I know this would not be The Walking Dead in any capacity, but neither is any TWD content anymore, and if nothing matters than I might as well have fun while I watch.

The reason they kept Judith alive and gave him RJ was to replace Carl.
@ladysenbonzakura
@ladysenbonzakura Күн бұрын
@@ShadowSonic2 Hi! I will confess I'm not 100% what your intentions are on your comment, but I'll go ahead and elaborate on my point just in case. Yes, on paper Judith and RJ were used as attempts to replace Carl. However, there are three massive differences between Carl and Judith & RJ: 1. The show spent far more time with Carl than with Judith and RJ combined, meaning that the audience had much more time to become emotionally attached to Carl and for Carl to be fleshed out as a character. Carl was being written as an actual character with dialogue and plot relevance since season 2, contrast this to Judith who spent 6 seasons being essentially a prop because she was an infant. Way more effort was put into Carl than Judith, so after Rick was removed from the show, the writers were suddenly asking audiences to care just as much about Judith, who they were basically just meeting, as Carl, a character they had watched grow and evolve over 8 years. This is not how one writes a passing-of-the-torch to keep an audience invested. 2. Rick's motivations have always been Carl, both specifically and explicitly. In season 2 Rick states outright that Carl is "the one thing he doesn't want to fail," and he confirms that "everything" was for Carl in his bedside monologues in both seasons 6 and 8. Hell, he says in no uncertain terms that he wanted to "show you the new world, Carl. I want to make it a new reality for you." And yes, he does mention his family in other lines, but these are all general references; Lori nor Judith nor Michonne get singled out specifically, just Carl. The writers did not bury the lead as to what Rick's motivation was, we hear it from his own mouth multiple times. 3. Finally, when I said that Carl was the "moral and thematic foundation of the narrative," I wasn't kidding. Carl embodies the core theme of the show, that being hope prevailing over despair. Rick convinces Lori to keep Carl alive despite the horror of the ZA because Carl was still able to see the beauty in the world ("he talked about the deer.") Carl also is responsible for bringing or keeping individuals in the group, Michonne, Gabriel, and Enid being the obvious ones. His statement that "everyone can't be bad" was important, and built the philosophy that is the whole reason Rick and co didn't decimate the Saviors, because growth and second chances are vital to humanity. Carl was no pacifist, but he was practical, and embodied hope. What is the show trying to say when it kills off its embodiment of hope? That hope is dead and nothing matters. I understand and on some level respect the gut reaction to say "Oh, well Judith and RJ are alive so it's all fine!" and I would agree if this was real life. TWD is no documentary, though, it's a TV show designed to tell a story. Narratives need things to matter, themes need to matter, motivations need to matter, characters need to matter. Otherwise it's not a story, it's just things happening, so why should anyone listen or care?

This is so depressing. My husband and I LOVED going to the movies, we’d go at least once a month before having a kid and since movies are getting more expensive, and babysitters are expensive it’s just prohibitively expensive to go see a movie NOW. As much as I’d love to go to the theaters it’s actually just easier to stream something. That is IF something is actually available and hasn’t been removed from a service in the three days since we ask each other “what should we watch this weekend?” And movie night, which has happened 3 times THIS MONTH

I lost interest when I started to see the patterns the show had adopted, and when I realized the main characters had become essentially unkillable stripping all tension from the show. When they started rolling in hordes of new characters just so they had fodder to kill in their place. Around when season 5 or 6 was airing. Tried to come back, but then they killed Carl and wrote Rick out, literally removed the 2 main characters.

Honestly, i love the netflix movies to sleep. I have insomnia AND anxiety, if i try to sleep without any type of aid, i will probably end up crying after being bullied by my own brain, so i put movies and series on screen, BUT if i put anything remotely interesting on i will also not sleep. So i'm aways on the look for something boring/non-thought inducing, quite like bedtime stories for me to sleep well.

Jackson was integral. He made the werewolves relevant aside from Haley. No one thought about werewolves really but the arch of Haley and Jackson uniting the packs and getting a seat at the table amongst the other factions was good. In a working underground city of supernaturals it makes sense that the werewolves would want a leader and equal respect for their group like the vampires and witches. The werewolves we important because unlike the vampire diaries where they focused on vampires. The originals showed how the groups of supernaturals interacted. I wish they had brought in other supernatural beings on the originals before they did it in legacies. Just my two cents 😅

The problem with this show is the cartoonish characters. Nobody has ever acted like anyone to ever appear on an episode of the walking dead. EVER!
