Getting 20-40. Minutes of sunlight works also. I take 30 to 50 mg of melatonin or I get the sleep 3 by nature-mate sleep aid or a stress relief supplement. In the summer I try to this in the early part of the day or late morning when it’s not too hot.

Thanks, I've been struggling with this and you explain it really clearly, I watched it then went straight on and did a live broadcast, something that I should have started doing a long time ago! 👍

Sometimes the discomfort makes me dig in my heels deeper then turn to substances to numb out. Sometimes slowing down and letting it be there is better with Les’s kickback and less chances of drinking or whatever I pushed myself earlier this year to do a bunch of stuff and then I had a complete burnout/ hardcore resistance in reaction to pushing myself when I felt uncomfortable

I really like this video! A lot of the things you mention have made me feel validated/ okay in the past. I never thought about how these activities could truly benefit me on a brain chemical way. I will have to check out your channel to see why weed was in there a bit. Michael blube sucks.

This person clearly does not understand introversion. Total carp and insulting video. They have mixed up being shy and being introverted aren't the same thing, Introverts don't have the energy for small talk, and introverts have a lower threshold of dopamine sensitivity than extroverts. While introverts and extroverts have the same amount of dopamine in their brains, extroverts have a more active dopamine reward network. Like dopamine, acetylcholine is also linked to pleasure; acetylcholine makes introverts feel good and content by their selves or in a meaningful one-on-one conversation. It powers the introvert's abilities to think deeply, reflect, and focus on just one thing for a long period.

"As your awareness increases, you'll likely be able to fight your mental resistance..." It feels like the best way to fight it is to be aware of it, accept it, and not fight it. A small effort at making a start is sometimes what's needed.

"We're not disappointed right now because we don't have more of what we lack. We're disappointed because we're not content with what we have." That hit like a gut punch. So true.

Your story about having resistance to making your resistance video seems contrived. It is like making a video about the common cold and saying you caught it while making a common cold video. It is not important if you did or didn't. What matters is that you appear dishonest.

Im having one now. I can see the wall on the right side of my minds eye. All I want to do is take pooch for a walk and do shopping. It's feels like the resistance is pushing against me. 🤷‍♀️ may as well take both pooch and wall for a walk then 🤷‍♀️🐶

Psychology also says talking to other people about things can be a way to process information for some people… only 2 minutes in and already giving bad/situation specific advice. What if I did talk to person B and they didn’t give a shit about what I had to say? This is more like “how to stop getting frustrated at the first sign of conflict” cause trust me it’s not just a one done frustration mode for me buddy.

Thoughts prior to this video: 1. We accept(face)what is happened(I am feeling disappointed because….) 2. We decide to not make the disappointment mean something is wrong with us. 3. We look over what happened and see if there is anything we can modify so that if we make a better decision in the future.
