@chadmcfadden9286 Yea I think so, but you can find these bikes with forwards at dealerships now, go sit on one before you buy. Seat makes a difference, too. Some seats make you seat more straight and pushed forward, others make you feel more pushed back, you will have to figure out what works for you, but yea - I think it’s possible.😎👊🏼

Random question, when you are riding, if you look down at your primary do you hear some chatter comming from it? Everyone tells me what I'm hearing is normal, just seems loud to me idk. I have the comp s on my 22 low rider also. I'm probably just hearing normal noise such as the chain rotating inside there, just curious if others notice the sounds that originate from there.

I think I know what you’re talking about, which would be normal, BUT I would take your bike back to the dealer and let them verify in person - can’t be to cautious. If it’s going to have a malfunction it’s going to happen the day after your warranty runs out. 👍🏼

How did the explorer change your position on the bike compared to stock? Did it push you more forward or further back?
@RYANo_Moto
@RYANo_Moto Жыл бұрын
I’ve never sat on the stock single seat (if I did I don’t remember), I had the dealership swap it out for the duel stock seat when I purchased it. The explorer is like the step up (in my opinion), feels like it’s pushing you forward, but it’s just the fact that you have lower back support, which is why you feel more forward on the bike. You’re really just sitting straighter. Make sense?

Just wanted to let others know because I couldn’t find the tool sizes from the videos: most common screws are t45, a couple t40’s, Allen wrench 1/4”, and a couple Allen 3/16”. Was easy. Wanted to add one more thing to this that might help someone. It’s been about week since I put my forward controls on, and I’ve noticed it’s been harder to find neutral. I did some research and found out that after you put the forwards on you need to do a clutch adjustment. It takes all of about 3 minutes to do, very simple. Now finds neutral easy, and everything is as it should be.

@RYANo_Moto

Definitely a deeper tone, but gets raspy in the higher rpm’s. The idle is very deep and smooth. The exhaust tone is great, the only question will be if it’s loud enough for you, in which case the next option would be the turnout. The comp s isn’t a quiet exhaust, but it is milder than the turnout.
