If you're the one cutting the trees, and not looking to get lumber, try leaving a higher stump and youll have more leverage.

Take notice of his anchor point at the hook end of the cable. For those that don't know, don't EVER put a hook around a cable. It creates a stress point that WILL fail. Straight line pull through the termination swage only.

Mechanical advantage is around us everywhere, but for the most part failed to be noticed or taken for granted. Doubtful that you could even point out every process in your video that makes use of mechanical advantage. But your video needs to start out with a lengthy and In depth legal disclaimer. There’s almost as many not recommended practices as there are mechanical advantages in the video. I dare not to list them all. But I can not be silent about the most obvious issue. Wirerope and chains are not designed to be shock loaded like that. Not only the dangers of it, there is no way to deny the damage you have cause to your equipment. How hypocritical can one be by taking the time to grease their snatch block, then follow up with the shock loading of their wirerope? It makes about as much sense as showing the advantages of snatch blocks and mechanical advantage but prove to the world the disadvantages out weigh the advantages in your mind. That’s what you did, when you didn’t want to take the time to set up the system that you had so highly praised. You opted to look like a fool. What better example could there be for not practicing what your preaching?

I bought a brand new one last week TRD off road and I noticed my idler pulley has a slight wobble. Is that normal!

I don't recall if mine had any however if it was just a little movement it may be normal as long as it feels smooth and is not making any noise...

Boy I got a good laugh when you lifted that seat lol. I ended up getting an aftermarket carb. Not all parts fit right but I was able to adapt it to fit with the right sized drill bit. There was a hose that was too big for the fuel inlet port. Made an adjustment in the idle screw and it’s been running better then it ever has been

It's simple to replace burnt coil wire. Just need to match new wire with same guage and length of old. Set up old part as a spool driven by drill or whatever to respool new wire evenly onto old part. Nothing to it really. Better and more durable than repairing several breaks on old spool. It can be quicker and easier too. I've reused wire from salvaged electronics that's in good condition. New wire is priced reasonably though.

I have a lot of logs left over after sawmill took out some trees, some too big to move by hand, and some too heavy for my winch, I have no anchor points for proper snatch block placement, but I will not try to pull them with my truck while attached to my winch, I am going to try your trick and make a notch in my biggest stump, good idea.

Don’t use a frame for more than 2/1 load of a nominal winch capacity. Get a chain, run it underneath, and anchor it that way. Lots of stuff been pulled apart or ripped off over the years of winches…

Not about hating on your effort - legit concerns about best (safest) practices being employed and spread to viewers. One time deal, yep you got it done. Enough ppl repeat this, something tragic will occur. If you choose to do sketchy things, do it out of the shot.
