It is of course regrettable that some hard working individuals will lose their jobs, but many are not hard working nor trying to do a good job. Again, in the end, the world moves on. No matter what sympathies you may have with these people, the world doesn't stand still, it can't afford to. Some industries die and some change fundamentally over time. If nothing ever changed the world would never progress and we would be much worse off as a species. The strongest will in the end survive, meaning things that suck in life will happen, you have to adapt or be left behind. Be it the oil industry, manufacturing or any other changing industry. The ones that are driven, the ones that are hard working and motivated will always find new opportunities and ways to make a living, even if it is hard in the moment

@@VikingGnomeAnime I do not say that betterment & advancement is not necessary. I just argue, is this a step forward at all? Yes a few will give their stupid takes on things unpromted, others will be unprofessional & many will commit mistakes. But that's the flaws of being humans, emotional & hormonal as we are, is that really enough excuse to eliminate the human factor all together and put AI's in OUR place? And where does the limit ends? Should we remove KZfaqrs? Cooks? Artists? Some are actually trying. But is this truly for the better? Creating more unemployment by removing jobs. And if at least the substitutes were infalibles then a case could be made casting aside all humanity & empathy, but AI is sloppy, unoriginal, prompt to make mistakes because it lacks the common knowledge & spark of genius that humans have. You are just trading human errors for technical errors. Is not a step forward but a step sideways into a souless & cold corporate decision. Because don't believe for a second this is the rational "better choice", is the cheapest one. With less to no voice actors they reduce cost. That's the reality of the situation. The Correct Choice would have been firing the troublemakers, improve the hiring process & hire additional quality control personnel to check the translations & voice recordings, But that would be too expensive. Dont let yourself be lied to, this is not for the sake of quality or other artists intellectual property. They just wanted to reduce costs. As for your fatalistic take on how the strong will find a way, and is the only way to advance. The advancement of technology & science was in order for the "weak" to have a chance & humans, REAL ones, we never left anyone behind. If we did, would Not be advancement at all. I agree though that sacrifices some times are needed, But those sacrifices should be made by the people in question not by others in their stead. Sorry for the long reply but i needed to try and make you see that TRUE advancement would be one that benefit all, that sacrifices are made Not demanded & that the sins of the few should NEVER hurt the many. Yes some of those will lose their jobs as well, but that is the way of the world, it adapts and evolves. If we never transitioned out of jobs because someone still was doing it, then the world would never modernize, and we would still have people manually fanning people with a large leaf

Well the woke people aren't learning just a while ago they were complaining that only people of color can voice a person of color and then they got it to pass and now they're complaining that they can't voice characters they want because they're not their skin tone or the ethnicity of that character😅
