I use a super fine ground and it works great. Ive had no problems with it. Courser coffee grounds will underextract and produce a watery espresso.

Showed up for Coffee Crisp the same way I showed up for the US soccer teams during World Cup Qualifiers. Not in interested in the "main thing" but interested in seeing how "my team" would fair... and they were unceremoniously knocked out. I love Coffee Crisp, but it definitely is convenience store candy. And I do wish the chocolate was of higher quality.

You need to try Bali's Best coffee candies. They have a very good coffee flavor. Dark Roast or the Latte are good.

About discoloration: I've had one of these for about a year, and yes it does discolor. You can see a more-than-slight difference when you put the tritan of the plunger, which never touches coffee, next to the tritan of the brew chamber. It doesn't bother me at all, and I can barely tell unless I put them next to each other (though I am color blind). Most importantly, it's still perfectly transparent, and I like being able to see the coffee bed clearly before pressing down all the way, so I can judge whether it stayed flat or whether I swirled it too hard and made a cone. No regrets.

I dispose of coffee grounds by using them as skincare and haircare, but they can be used in pellet fuel, manufactured log fuel and manufactured briquettes. Take a look at British company Bio-Bean used to do that.

Lol. Somehow the ground coffee that was all over the sides that would not get brewed somehow got brewed. I can't believe he has 2.1M subs. I think he's expertise is BS but he is good at selling stuff. Let's see some blind taste test with chemical analysis.

A restaurant I frequent serves French press. It tastes pleasant enough, but I find if I drink the whole thing it's far too much caffeine for me, and if I split it with someone or order a smaller carafe, I don't get as many minutes of coffee drinking experience as I want. Should I ask for less coffee in the press, or the half size with some hot water I can pour in my cup? Or should I just push down the plunger sooner? (This would be sitting at the bar and during off-peak hours. And I promise to leave a nice tip. I wouldn't want to be a pest to a busy server.)

Real question. Did you try just putting your beans in and brewing a glass? You paused it. Decided yourself to add more. Shook the thing around, then put it back together. I definitely understand breaking a product apart, after trying it correctly. You also mentioned that it was built for a darker roast, and then used an extremely light roast. I just find this humorous. If a busy mother who has the same type of donut shop coffee everyday were looking at this, I think we would BOTH agree that the product is superior.

The crema/foam is bitter and nasty and prevents the coffee from getting cold, so I set a timer for 12 minutes. Then I scoop off the foam and pour my coffee into my Yeti and add some cream, perfectly good coffee.

The law you were looking for is called Raults law. It governs liquid-vapor equilibrium. Otherwise known as evaporating. The jist of it is as you go lower in pressure the more your substance will go into the vapor phase. Until you hit the vapor pressure at that temperature and then you actually will boil the substance(yes you can technically boil the frozen ice it's complicated) and this can be changed by the concentration of volatile components. But thing to remember is all volatile compounds have a vapor pressure higher than water. So all of the things that contribute to aroma will most likely be carried out in the vacuum

I'm sorry, but this was not helpful at all. Basically all I go now is: Each manufacturer puts something different on the label, it's not comparable between manufacturers and that's basically it. Coffee really is super inaccessible, especially if you're not sure what exactly you're looking for. I think I go back to tea, that's far easier.

I might be biased due to nostalgia, but here in Brazil we have a coffee candy that I absolutely love. It's simply called "brazilian coffee" by Florestal Candies, very sweet but I think it tastes enough like coffee lol. Was hoping against all hope that it'd be featured in this video but oh well

I've never had some of these, but they do look interesting. Of the ones I have had, Community and Caribou are my favorites. I usually buy whole beans from a local roaster, but if I run out, Community is my go to. But whole bean is certainly the eay to go. I wish I could find Community in whole bean.
